He didn't have any problems being sexy in GotG. He nailed Gamora... even though Rocket told him not to.

So, apparently Fox is trying to buy WB to make a Wolverine vs. Batman movie? WB declined the offer though.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Howard the Duck makes an appearance in an upcoming "Marvel Space" movie (whether it be a Guardians sequel, Nova, etc). Howard has been making appearances in Marvel comics for years, and it's presumed that his planet is "out there somewhere" in the Marvel galaxy. They won't put him in the normal MCU movies to preserve the "grounded" feel, but they're obviously not interested in retaining that feel for the space movies, if the trailers for Guardians are any indication.

Believe me, the writers would have Batman kill Wolverine somehow. Sadly.

Batman hands people with powers their asses. The ONLY way to get a clean win over Batman is to be a "normal human" with extraordinary martial arts skills. There is no other way. Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern? Batman has owned them all.

I think it'd be cool to see a Howard cameo. Like you said, with the space movies coming out now, it'd make sense to have even a slight cameo (for example, in a post credit scene or something).

I don't see how Bats could stop Wolverine though, but I'm not really in-depth into comics, so there's probably a "convenient" way for Batman to de-power him or something.

Batman would only win because writers feel the need to come up with the most ridiculous stories as to how "he knew all along, therefore I was planning for it to happen the whole time."

Batman beat Wonder Woman without depowering her. He's the most ridiculously OP character in all of comics. It's not really fair to compare Wolverine to Batman... there are similarities, but Batman is the guy who shows up to put the beatdown at the end of a new major villain story... Wolverine is the guy who gets his ass handed to him at the start ofa new major villain story to show what a badass the villain is. It's called "being Worfed." Batman is never Worfed.

Wolverine is somehow not only the jobber of comics, but also the main eventer.

Wolverine is somehow not only the jobber of comics, but also the main eventer. LOL truth. Wolverine hasn't been much of a "finisher" in recent years though, at least not outside of X-Men comics. For some reason it's become popular to beat the guy down. Sabretooth just handed Wolverine his ass big time in the last storyline I read

I think the last Wolverine comic I read (not the newest one) was Cyber demolishing Wolverine.
Also, I like how Sabretooth and Wolverine have went back and forth over the years and both win and lose some. It kind of shows that neither is better and that they pretty much are "equal," but I love it even more when they team up. Whether it be as enemies, or friends, I've always found the two teaming up intriguing.

Update: July 18, 2014
Kevin Feige Confirms NAMOR Movie Rights Back with Marvel...
Last May, rumors surfaced that Universal and Legendary were planning a Namor movie for their untitled 2016 project. When asked by IGN in a new interview if Legendary could make the Namor movie, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige flatly answered no. Furthermore, Feige confirmed that Marvel has the rights back but there are some complications. When asked if Marvel Studios would be the only one to make a Namor movie, Feige answered:
"Yes, but it’s slightly more complicated than that. Let’s put it this way – there are entanglements that make it less easy. There are older contracts that still involve other parties that mean we need to work things out before we move forward on it. As opposed to an Iron Man or any of the Avengers or any of the other Marvel characters where we could just put them in."
Created by writer-artist Bill Everett, Namor first appeared publicly in Marvel Comics #1 (Oct. 1939). The mutant son of a human sea captain and a princess of the mythical undersea kingdom of Atlantis, Namor possesses the super-strength and aquatic abilities of the Homo mermanus race, as well as the mutant ability of flight, along with other superhuman powers. The first known comic book antihero, the Sub-Mariner has remained a historically important and relatively popular Marvel character.
