Y'know, the more I think about it, the more I'm amazed that a man of your youth latched on to this one. I tend to think of that as a bit of insight you gain with age, probably because it took me 35+ years to get there. I'm really glad you see the truth of it. |

Yep. I feel like a lot of non-Christians are under this impression that being Christian is easy on us. That we want to talk about sin and enjoy calling other people sinners, that we believe in the Bible because it's teachings confirm our pre-conceived notions of how the world should be. I wish they could see the tension we live with every day and know how much easier it would be for us to simply be okay with the things the world wants us to accept. |

If I truly believe that there are only two things that can happen to a person after this life is over; eternal peace or eternal torment, then I would have to hate a person to an extreme degree not to try to tell them how to avoid the latter. |
