I've been thinking about how much better WWE could be doing storyline wise lately. That led me to wonder, "What if I ran a promotion or company?". I decided I would be terrible at it, but I would like to know how you all would run one.

One of the biggest problems with the booking picture in most wrestling organizations, historically, is how dictatorial it becomes. Jim Cornette has booked (at least) two wrestling companies into the ground because he believes he knows best. Vince McMahon could have done the same thing immediately following the WCW purchase, if there had been any competition to make him pay for his mistakes.

Get people that have their own specialties in a certain area. That way, the creative staff that books the show can actually mesh the different aspects of pro wrestling to make a good, quality show in unique ways that can make some good shows on a consistent basis.

I do get the feeling Vince is still somewhat approachable that I really don't see with Lucas

The thing is, Vince hasn't been in charge creatively for a long time. Almost everyone noticed straight away that this past RAW felt "different"... and that difference was that Vince was back in charge of the show creatively. Obviously it wasn't a positive difference, but the fact that the difference was so noticeable means that Vince hasn't had any problem letting others handle things in the recent past. I just think that Vince is one of those guys who can't be half-in, half-out. He has to either be in charge, or let someone else handle things.

Pretty sure Jim has a burning hatred against Paul. Then again, it's hard to find someone who Jim DOESN'T hate.

Better than Dixie Carter is my answer to the question at hand.
Checklist: 1. Younger talent only. 2. Hardly any comedy segments, serious promos on a regular basis. 3. Have commentators actually pay attention to the match. 4. Have merch (Hats, Shirts, etc.) for everyone on the roster, even those in developmental. 5. Have not just one face of the company, but many popular stars. 6. Blood, blood, & more blood. 7. Hire Cozza, Sri, IDK, Viper, Raven, Grift & other forum members to help write the scripts, come up with ideas.
Starting-Off Roster: Kurt Angle AJ Styles Davey Richards Eddie Edwards Bryan Danielson Samoa Joe CM Punk Tyler Black Jon Moxley Paige Knight AJ Lee Kevin Steen Cody Rhodes Claudio Castagnolli Xavier Woods Zack Ryder Paul Heyman (Commentator) Joey Styles (Commentator) Adrian Neville Austin Aries Christopher Daniels Kazarian Dolph Ziggler Kenny King Adam Cole Chris Hero Jay Lethal Jimmy Jacobs Heath Miller Drew Galloway Justin Roberts (Announcer)
