Also; Cena is NOT a good wrestler. He's a perfectly mediocre wrestler. "Good" indicates better than average skills, which Cena does not have. Most notably; Cena lacks the understanding of ring psychology that previous top guys had. Hmm, good enough? Not necessarily main event, but midcard maybe?

Anything, ANYTHING but that swat team reject uniform. "Naked" Mideon gear? You think Reigns has an issue with getting jumped by female fans now, that would amplify it by twenty.

I'm fine with Cena being a "Main Event guy" Lots and lots of "Main Event Guys" have had far worse ring skills. My problem with Cena is that, from a business perspective, I don't understand why the WWE keeps pushing him on an audience that clearly got tired of him. His biggest recent surge in popularity was during his "bad year" when it seemed like he couldn't win to save his life. How did that not register with creative and the bookers?

Tyson Kidd is still an unbelievably entertaining performer. His match with Adrian Neville was the best match in the entire WWE that week. Unfortunately, wrestling fans hate wrestling.

Speaking of NXT, have you guys been watching? The Vaudevillains are the best thing on WWE TV right now. Not necessarily that they're the best ringworkers as such, but certainly they've got the most entertaining gimmick & matches. They'll never make it the Main Roster with what they're doing, but man... is watching them a trip. It's like back in the day when wrestling was about, y'know, fun...

People complain about Cena only having 5 moves, but Roman Reigns only has 3. Also, Roman Reigns promos are very lacklustre, at least with Cena's promos they are in the 'so awful it's hilarious' category. 1) MOST Main Event guys have a very limited arsenal. This argument is not only BS, it's tired. Main Event guys trim their arsenal down to a "greatest hits list." That is just how it is. It's also a fact that the NUMBER of moves is not nearly as important as how well those moves are executed, and the worker's understanding of ring psychology so that he can string them together in an entertaining way. And Reigns has more than 3 moves. THAT SAID I actually agree that his ringwork since coming up to the main roster is very limited. He's capable of so much more, and I'm disappointed in him. I'm hopeful that when he has more full length singles matches, he'll go back to his varied offense from the previous periods in his career. He really is/was an excellent worker with a great understanding of ring psychology. Unfortunately I doubt that will be the case. If he succeeds by doing only a little, he'll have little reason to go back to doing more. 2) I simply flatly disagree with you about his promo skills. The guy isn't outstanding, but compared to Rollins, Reigns is the second coming of The Rock. Whenever I've watched any of his one on one matches he only uses the jumping clothesline, Superman punch (not that different from the clothesline) and spear. These three moves always happen in succession at the end of the match after Roman has spent the first 33/4 of the match being beaten down despite being a "tough guy". I can think of three other moves he will do rarely and they are a Samoan drop, that apron kick, and the back suplex transitioned into a side slam. None of these moves wow me in terms of execution, granted he's done a few sick spears but nothing about him or his moveset stands out to me. If he's capable of doing great things in the ring then why did WWE put him with two other people who would wrestle most of the matches for him then tag him in at the end so he could eecute the Superman punch and spear for the win?

I never had any issue with him, I just thought his "singer" gimmick was pretty stupid. It needed something more... and now he's got it.
