I've looked around for forum addition ideas, and these are some of what I've found. I can't promise any of them happening, but I can try.

Add a sidebar to your forum and list the most recently updated or created threads, with options for an announcement box etc.
Of the Month -
These can be random where it will display 1 randomly selected of the month option - with the titles which you can also choose - or static where it will display all the members of the month set up. This can be placed in a sidebar, in a header, or anywhere else.
Mini-Profile BG and Text Color (For all users) -
Allows users to set a background color and/or image to their Mini-Profiles, as well as change the color of the display name text and the rest of the text in the MP.
Monetary System - Shop -
allows your members to visit the shop and buy items with virtual currency (earned from the monetary system). Items that are bought are then listed on the members profile.
- Integrates with the Monetary System plugin by using members virtual currency they have earned.
- Create shop categories
- Add new items easily to any category
- If enabled, items can be refunded
- Refund percentage on lowest price paid
- Permissions to prevent groups or specific members using the shop

Styled Member Names -
Allows you to style members names, and groups.
Awards System -
Awards are displayed in the profile and the mini-profile, as either a pop-up or a list of images.
Post Moods -
puts a drop down at the bottom of reply form that lets members choose a "posting mood", either Text under the avatar or a new avatar image.
Forum Tooltips -
Adds stylized tooltips to the forum when hovering over various elements with titles. Also comes with the option to add your own custom tooltips to any tags or elements you know the ID or class of.
Presto Box -
allows content to fade in over the top of an image
Simple Tagging -
will create a section of buttons on your Posting Page & Quick Reply that makes it simple to tag anyone that has posted in that thread (and appears in the thread summary) simply by clicking on their name. Also, there is an 'All' button to tag everyone that is listed and optional buttons for group tagging. You can call those buttons whatever you want
Event Calendar -
Add events to the calendar.
flash game install plugin -
This plugin will allow you to add games to a custom page.
Level Up Meter -
Based on the code by Wonder. Puts a scaled graph on the mini-profile that shows progress to the next rank
Karma System -
Karma system based on your actions and how much you contribute and how you contribute. Can also be used to influence rankings.
Whisper Tags -
A posted whisper can only be seen by the member(s) that you choose, be aware though that any staff member with the ability to edit posts can also see the whispers if they choose do do so.
