I keep working on a super hero story featuring all of us (on the forum) but I'm a procrastinating lazy ass-hat who keeps doing other things... I began on the story so long ago that I was going to make Aubrey one of the characters, until I replaced him with Cozza. *Honk* Make me part of the story. I want to be a hispanic that is hooked on a drug....possibly call it "venom."  I'm a villain. |

With Mike more or less absent, it feels like this place is being run by the Limited Intellect Brigade. ati was given a warning because people reported him, with no frame of reference as to WHY people were reporting him. "People reporting you" should not in itself be reason for a verbal dressing down from a Mod, much less an official $#@!ing warning. On top of that, the thread was summarily locked because it was "off topic" which is utterly arbitrary. EVERY thread around here is "off topic" for pages at a time. With all due respect to number and cozza... it's clear to me that neither of them has any business moderating anything, and we need SOMEONE that can put the reins on these two before the forum collapses under the weight of this nonsense. On a note, I will most certainly be on tomorrow. Whomever's on, will help me decide the future of the mod/admin situation as a community. I do not know what happened. I have one side of the story that I have NOT read yet and I do not care to read for a purpose: The reason there are mods/admins other than me is so that when I'm not here, others can do something about it. mike I've heard is gone lately, and he's THE MAIN person that helped me with everything. That being said, I was already thinking about changing the lineup of the admins/mods anyways to see what would work best. It has nothing to do with anything that has happened, because as I've said I don't know what happened and I'm not taking any sides. (I haven't read the post I'm quoting right now either purposely, I was only directed towards it and wanted you all to know my stance on the matter). The reason I had mods/admins is so that I didn't always have to have a say in the matter and they should be listened to. HOWEVER, I was informed that threads were locked for being off-topic and that kind of struck me as weird because I think even I go off-topic in 90 percent of the threads I post in. That's what's great about us being a community of people that understand each other rather than being forced to stay on topic like the 2k forums. I think the main reason to say this is that some mods/admins will change soon enough and some will stay. I DO want the opinion of the community and I will contact all of the people that I think are active through pm to get individual thoughts, privately, so that nothing is started and nobody is scared to tell me what they really think (not that I think any of you wouldn't say what's on you mind anyways). I think me talking to each person individually within the next few days through pm will help me make a change in direction of the forum, just in case I have to leave again unexpectedly like last time. When I came back I did not expect this, but just to any mods/admins that have status changes (if any even do, it all depends on what I find out and who I relate to more), it's not on a personal note, it's more so as a leader what I think is the best decision. I will note that even though mike is not around a lot anymore, he does help a lot when he is here and he will most certainly be staying. From my knowledge, nobody has any problems with most of the decisions he has made. Some disagree with his stances on comic books, but in the end he never did anything bad admin wise and I do think he is a great admin to keep. That's the only thing that I'm saying on the matter for now, as it's 6:32 in the morning, I'm hurting and I'm tired, so I'm going to bed, lol. Bane is back for now and he will be until he can't again. It's great to be back, lol. |
