I was offered a Mod position way back when the board started. I didn't want it then, and I don't now. The reality is that, because of my reputation (possibly well-deserved), any time I had to come down on someone it could easily be taken as bias, dislike, or me revenge for a disagreement. I know that I am capable of strict objectivity, but I do not want to undermine the general "health" of the board in any way. Fair enough  I forgot that you were actually offered a spot as an admin, but now that I think about it, I do remember it, lol. I don't understand therapy. You just pay someone to listen to what you say and somehow miraculously feel better. I used to counsel (as a volunteer, not a professional) troubled teens and addicts, and I can tell you from observation that just being heard can work miracles for the human psyche. This is very much true. Hence why Suicide Hotlines exist. |

To my knowledge, being human has never benefited me in any way. You could always be an ant instead. Since I don't work for CHIKARA, I don't think "being an ant" is a legitimate decision I could make |
