First off, I want to say that the forum rules have been made. On top of that, I have made guidelines for the mods to give mods an idea of how to run things (admins can kind of follow them too, but they can judge things however they want). All of that can be found in the navigation bar at the top of the page by clicking on "Forum Rules & Guidelines." If you want to discuss those rules, I urge you to go to this thread:
wwe2kgames.proboards.com/thread/860/forum-rules-guidelines
However, I do not want that discussion here, I just wanted to know that everybody got the message about the rules & guidelines being up.
This is a place for me to discuss a different matter that was brought up the other day, and I know this means little to some of you, if not everybody except one person, and I don't want you all to feel like I'm asking for money either, lol. I'm just trying to get the general idea and opinion. There are a list of things you can pay for, and somebody brought up that they'd be willing to help pay for in order to help the forums. I figured that even though one person is willing to put in money, there are always better options if more people put in money. So, if we as a community can all put in a little bit, we may be able to actually get better "deals" for whatever we get. No, this isn't me asking for money, it's me getting an idea, or trying to get an idea of who's willing to do what, what they'd be willing to put it towards, etc. Below is a list of things (and their prices if I have them) that money can go towards for everybody's convenience:
Ad-Free Fourm:
Forums.Net (be careful...you thought the other one was expensive, look at this bad boy):
Custom Domains:
Theme Storage Size Upgrade:
Plugin Storage Upgrade (One of the main things we use):
Storage Upgrade:
Change Forum URL:
Another thing to note is you don't have to give me anything if you pay. Everything can be done by you. I can give you access to place where you buy things, and you do it from there, all by yourself (unless we do it as multiple people putting in money for one thing, I don't know how we'd do that, but we could probably figure something out).
Also note, that I think we could go without paying, but this is just for me to figure out who's willing to pay, if anybody, and what they'd be wanting to pay for. We may be able to upgrade our forums if we see what we can do as a group, and somebody brought it to my attention that I should probably ask.
Honestly the only things that would probably pertain to us is the URL change, and the plugins, keys, and superkeys for the most part. The rest in my opinion is either overpriced, junk, or not worth it. Feel free to discuss anything below.

Many different payment options here.
There are two basis plans; Either pay for a monthly subscription (which can save you anywhere's from 25-55%) or a One-Time payment.
The price will differentiate depending on how many views you want to be ad-free. You can choose between:
50,000 - (a bunch of other options) - 10,000,000 views per month to be ad-free.
So, for example:
A monthly subscription of 50,000 ad-free views would cost - $6.00/month.
A monthly subscription of 10,000,000 ad free views would cost - $720/month.
A One-Time Payment of 50,000 ad-free views would cost - $8.00
A One-Time Payment of 10,000,000 ad-free views would cost - $1,600.00
Any other questions on the subject can be asked and I will try to answer.

Forums.Net (be careful...you thought the other one was expensive, look at this bad boy):
Let me explain what this gives:
White Label: No ads or other branding ever, not even from ProBoards. Members will never know that your forum is hosted unless told.
Data Export: If you create a new Forums.net forum, you can export your forum's full database at any time. If you're transferring your data from ProBoards to Forums.net, you will be able to export your database after six months.
No-PG 13 Restrictions (Doesn't mean you can post porn, Gmen): We can decide what's on our forums. One thing though, This is only about being about to post about porn, which woudn't be allowed anyways (Gmen).
Custom Domain Name: With Forums.net you can use your own custom domain name at no extra cost.
InSite Forwarding: Need more than just a custom domain? Let your forum live at any URL that you control with our unique InSite Forwardingâ„¢ system. Your forum can now contribute directly to your primary domain's SEO value.
SSL Secured: All traffic goes through SSL encryption by default. If you're using a custom domain, you'll need to provide an SSL certificate for that domain to enable full SSL encryption.
Integrated Login and Registration: Let visitors sign up and sign in even more quickly with new login and registration pages that are integrated directly into your forum.
Single Sign-on: Your forum can integrate seamlessly with your website's existing user base. Visitors to your website can log in to your forum without needing a separate account.
Unlimited Plugins and Keys: I'll explain what these are later on.
Data Migration: Import your existing forum data from a number of other forum platforms including ProBoards. Our experienced operations team will work with you to ensure that the migration process goes smoothly.
Design Matching: Have an existing website? Let us help you match your forum to your website's existing design. The power and flexibility of ProBoards v5 means that we can make your forum reflect any design.
Best in Class Support: All Forums.net accounts come with private online ticketing support from our experienced and dedicated support staff. Some plans also include support over the phone.
How do Forums.net plans work?
When purchasing a Forums.net plan, you are presented with three base plan options: Personal, Startup, and Small Business. Each plan has a specific set of features that differentiates it. However, these three plans serve only as a base and any plan may be used with any number of pageviews. Pricing for Forums.net is based solely on pageviews. Additional features such as phone support or a dedicated account rep are added in as bonuses as the number of pageviews reaches certain levels, but these features do not affect the price of your plan.

Custom Domains:
This would allow us to switch url from wwe2kgames.proboards.com to wwe2kgames.com (just an example, it can be turned into anything that isn't take, so forumofsolitude.com would work).
The price cannot be given here. You have to first buy a domain (which isn't through proboards, but through places like GoDaddy.com, and I don't know their prices or any other places and their prices) and then you use that domain and pay $13.99/year to make that the url of the forum.

Theme Storage Size Upgrade:
This literally just gives you more space for more themes (in my opinion, just like most, if not all of the stuff above, this is useless, lol).
It costs $1.00 for 10MB and goes up to $10.00 for 100MB (and can buy in between those numbers).

Plugin Storage Upgrade (One of the main things we use):
There are three things that are included in this, so before I tell you the prices, let me tell you what each does.
Plugins: Allows for features to be added to your forum to make them unique. You get 40 free plugins for free (we are currently using 17).
Keys: Used for some plugins in order to make them better and cause less glitches. You get 10 of these for free (we are currently using 5).
Super Keys: Used for a lot of plugins. These are used in for the same thing as keys, but much more too. So much more that I'm not going to try describing. You get 2 of these for free (we are currently using 2).
These are not needed for all plugins, but a lot of them. If you're looking for a specific "plugin" and want to pay for whatever is needed to get it, pm me and I'll give you all of the info I can. Also, if you don't know if there's a plugin for what you want done, pm me and I'll look.
Here are the packages in which to buy the above:
5 plugin slots: $1.00
1 key: $1.00
1 Super Key: $4.00
The rest are sales/bundles and may change within time price wise:
10 plugins, 4 keys, 1 super keys: $9.00
25 plugins, 10 keys, 1 super key: $16.00
50 plugins, 20 keys, 1 super key: $27.00
10 plugins, 20 keys, 2 super keys: $21.00
10 plugins, 6 keys, 6 super keys: $22.00

There's a storage system for "Attachments" that you can put in your posts (for pictures, mainly I think). This can be upgraded monthly anywhere from $3.00/month - $73.50/month
Change Forum URL:
Allows the URL to be changed (only once per purchase). It does not give you your own domain, just changes the "wwe2kgames" part of the url to whatever we make it.
