Here is what I suggest for this game. Whenever somebody has some sort of guidelines, they post those guidelines. They can also post a name for that set of guidelines (reasonable name) and then I add those guidelines to the OP and when somebody asks for a challenge, they also ask for a specific set of guidelines. This would allow for the game not to get old quickly and prevent users from only using legendary pokemon all of the time, or whatever you need to happen. Here's an example of what could be done (and it's not being added on my behalf):

1st Generation:

You can only use pokemon from the first generation.

LOL you can make any rules you want. I'm not saying stick to that guideline. I'm saying tell me some of your own guidelines so that when you ask for a game, you can also ask for a type of game.

My guidelines:
1. Only Pokemon up to Gen 4 (Sinnoh)
2. No Pokemon above level 85.
3. Only 2 or 3 legendary Pokemon per team (unless you're making an all-legendary team).

Umm, you must also watch the full replays and congratulate each other, win or lose.
And the battle must be posted here if its truly that epic.
