I still don't think Reigns is the beacon of stainless perfection that you think he is. Neither do I. I think that he had tremendous momentum that the company pissed away. ... again, I feel I've been pretty clear about my disappointment in his actual ring work since coming up to the main roster. And I strongly disagree. You capitalize on momentum when it exists. You don't assume that it'll always be there. It usually doesn't work that way, when by the time you get done "building" the guy, the moment is gone. Despite what you guys seem to think, my problem with Rollins has little to do with my preference for Reigns. I feel like Rollins is being pushed in spite of clearly being the lesser performer of the three in every respect. That has nothing to do with whether the other two deserve a push or not. The only connection between the two is that the WWE attempted (and failed) to use the time-honored tactic of giving "the rub" to Rollins based off of popularity that Reigns had acquired. Geeeeeeez. Let it go. So what? That initial momentum was enough for WWE to take a long term chance with Reigns. That's why he's always featured in main events and main event storylines. I think it's good that they're testing him for the long run, and slowly settling him into a more permanent spot in the company other than a member of "The Shield". Factions of new kids can be dissolved and thrown aside quickly (The Corre, Nexus, etc). Usually factions like that are to see who is worth keeping around while seeing how much buzz they can create, and they clearly think Roman Reigns is one of those people and for good reason. For instance, if the Wyatts didn't turn out (Sadly, the Wyatts are a thing that casual fans have latched on to whether you want to admit it or not) they would have been removed with ease. If you're disappointed with Reigns in the ring, why do you think he should be rewarded with a massive push to the moon? If he's good enough, and the WWE does it right, a slow build will pay off way more than throwing everything you have at him for a potentially short lived run that will burn out quickly. I don't see how Roman Reigns is going to lose momentum with WWE constantly keeping him in the main event spotlight, unless of course he can't perform to the standard, which means he doesn't have staying power and he doesn't need to be at the top anyways. As for Rollins, I also think he is being pushed too quickly too early. But it's happening, so all I can say is "it's not like they have much to lose if it falls flat." *Honk* |

Swagger just needs to get some momentum, have a good rivalry against Rusev and bam, Swagger's better off. I just hope creative would know how to pull it off. Swagger is nothing more than a stepping stone for Rusev. Nothing more nothing less. In Russia, Rusev's a stepping stone for Swagger... bad puns aside, why would WWE want an American to lose against a Russian, easily too... |

Reigns or Cena will probably be the guy to beat Rusev. Swagger beating Rusev would destroy everything WWE has been building with him. |
