I don't recall Jake the Snake claiming he wouldn't be in the game, I recall people jumping to that conclusion based on other things 8)

Jake never said that he wouldn't be in the game, that I recall. He also never said he WOULD be in the Rumble. He said he WANTED to be in the Rumble to give the WWE fans a chance to have a better memory of him than his last WWE run when he was out of shape and almost always stoned.

Never happened. People assumed he wouldn't be in based on the timing of certain events regarding his recovery. I told them that their assumption was stupid, and shockingly, as usual, I was right.

I'll take Russo and Arquette over Heyman any and every day of the week. Arquettes title run was far less of an embarrassment to me as a wrestling fan than anything Paul Heyman has ever done.

I don't "hate" Heyman. I think we as fans should be embarrassed of his involvement with the industry. There isn't anyone he hasn't lied to, cheated, and stolen from. The business is overly forgiving of crooks in their midst. I am not. Heyman is partially responsible for the self-destruction of a number of good workers over the years.

He wasn't asked at the time that that interview was made. He was DLC, so he wasn't asked until a later date.

Yes, he did. It however was before the disc roster was even announced, and since he was the (last) DLC pack, he wasn't asked until a later date.

Scott Steiner - never been asked by 2K and say's he would gladly if the opportunity came up so that's a NO.
Gangrel - He was paid a one time fee by THQ for a 1 game appearance (WWE 13) so NO for WWE 2K14
Rhino - Never been approached by 2K,no contracts for ANY games or merch. currently so NO.



Now for Jake Roberts...................

I asked if he has been approached by 2K to appear in their upcoming game WWE 2K14 which is celebrating "30 yrs of WM" and if he would be in it and he said....." NO." He told me he has not signed any new contracts or been approached for anything like that and was kind of surprised he would not be included in something revolving around WM. I then mentioned the HOGAN situation were they claimed it was a old contract renewed and they did not need new permission and could use his likeness. Jake said that sounded fishy to him and did not believe it. I asked about his THQ game agreement and he said it was for a few games but he thinks he already appeared in the said games..even mentioning that Wrestlefest ipad game.

So guys it kind of broke my heart to hear that...now it makes me wonder what kind of other legends could we get of relevance to our Golden Era. Really Silly to not include Jake. Sorry for the negative news boys.

That's not the real article, but that's summarizing the one that was shown. It was the first one on the list when Is searched it. It did happen, but he simply wasn't part of the game at the time the game was made. Same for Scott.

Jarrett's not impossible. Unless he hates WWE for a reason that I do not know, if WWE wanted him in the game, he'd probably be in the game. He needs as much hype up as he can get, and being in a WWE game could help that...maybe.
