Dean Malenko put on some of the best matches on Nitro in the mid-90's. He MADE Mysterio as far as I'm concerned, and his stuff with Jericho was amazing. I agree. Although, I'd argue that Ultimo Dragon advanced Mysterio as well, lol. Dean Malenko put on some of the best matches on Nitro in the mid-90's. Quite a few times.

So, Malenko WAS part of the Four Horsemen! I almost thought I was wrong for a second... Nope. I have a WCW 4-pack wresting figure set, unopened and in great condition somewhere. ...How much value do you think it has if you ever thought of selling it?

The only reason I would hope for a WCW mode is Malenko. I actually liked a lot of the Cruiserweight Division of WCW. And Black Ninja. We need him.

Ultimo was basically working Mexican matches on American TV. I loved the "cruiserweight hour" at the start of Nitro as much as anybody, but I don't think any of those guys would have enjoyed long term success if they hadn't adapted to the American way of doing things.

I'm not one for prices or selling, lol. Nope. I have a WCW 4-pack wresting figure set, unopened and in great condition somewhere. I have the same one. I wish it didn't have Mongo $#@!ing McMichael I've never actually watched a Mongo match, honestly. In fact, I don't know what the dude actually looks like. The only reason I know of him is because of that pack. Somehow I missed him every time he was on t.v. when I watched WCW, or I just don't remember him. Could be both.

Fair enough. I agree that with so many international wrestlers, and a lot of them being really good, none of them would've lasted if they didn't learn the American style.

Did Malenko ever go against Benoit? That would be awesome if they ever competed against each other. They had a rivalry actually, good matches. Honestly not as good as the stuff he (Malenko) did with Rey and Jericho, because Benoit was pushing the limits of Malenko's strength, so his arsenal was somewhat limited. Was the rivalry with Jericho around 1998? Oh wait, I think I know the rivalry. Slamboree '98... it was over the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. I heard the crowd went nuts when Malenko beat Jericho as Ciclope or something. So, personally, I think Malenko reversing everything Jericho threw at him AND Jericho's awesome ability to enhance the feud with his great microphone skills must've made the bout quite the bout to see. Jericho poked fun at his family, too? Ouch.

I also don't know the Just Bring It Roster, so he may or may not have made it in that game, depending on the year it was made.

The Horsemen set is worth precisely jack and squat, unless you find someone who both has money and is stupid (I am one for prices and selling). You'll sometimes see someone selling one for a ridiculous price, but they'll probably never get that, unless they meet up with the aforementioned Golden Combination Customer.
Mongo McMichael preceded Goldberg in the "undertrained former football player who hurts people because he's dumb as a brick" mold. Sadly they brought in other football players (Kevin Greene amongst them) to "compete" with Mongo, it was a big mess. I honestly cannot tell you why anyone thought that McMichael deserved an immediate ride to the top, but hey, that's WCW for you.
Probably his biggest contribution to professional wrestling was that he brought along his wife, Debra, who would go on to divorce him, temporarily ruin the life of Jeff Jarrett, then jump into bed with Stone Cold and become the wife that Stone Cold drunkenly punched because that's what drunken rednecks do, I guess. I don't defend hitting women in any case, but I will say that some women strain my instinct to defend them, and Debra McMichael is amongst them.

That was the feud that created the (in)famous "Man of 1004 Holds" promo, which could be argued to be the thing that made Jericho's career. ... that or his one-sided rivalry with Goldberg.

I just want Brutus Beefcake dammit. They failed me last year, so lets see if they throw him in the rumored WCW mode as The Disciple.
