Tomorrow night is the biggest night in music, It's the Grammy's! 2013 was a solid year in music. From Imagine Dragons to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. 2013 was a year in music never to be forgotten. Expecting some huge wins tomorrow that can forever change these singers career. Here are my predictions for some of the bigger categories.
Album of the Year: My choice: The Blessed Unrest - Sara Bareilies
Her Album of the Year nod came as a shock to everyone. But she really outdid herself with this album.
Who will win: The Heist - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
If they don't win it will be a shocker. The album was a complete success. I was even dancing to "Can't Hold Us" and I'm not a rap person.
Record of the Year
My Choice: Radioactive - Imagine Dragons
Really great Rock song. My favorite of the year. I'm a rock person but not everyone is. Bruno Mars came as a close second for me as well.
Who will win Royals - Lorde
People loved this song. Really great arrangement. Watch out for Lorde in the coming years
Song of the Year
My Choice and Who will win
Locked out of Heaven - Bruno Mars
I think the Recording Academy will agree when I say Locked out of Heaven is the song of the year. You heard this song everywhere and it helps that he performing at the Superbowl.

I almost pity you for making this thread. As few people here have an optimistic view of modern music. I'm just gonna assume Stevie had a nice performance. Could've done without the Macklemore wedding thing. As society's more liberal view on Gay marriage is happening too rapidly and basically telling anyone who disagrees with it that they're wrong is kinda stupid. Also I like Robin Thicke, have listened to his music for years. But just leave the blue eyed urban/pop mix to Justin Timberlake

Modern music can be good, it's just that the stuff in popular culture is usually crap.
Imagine Dragons is the only band I've heard in a looooooong time that I believe deserves a spot on a teenager's IPod. But teenagers are generally stupid anyway. That's why they're an easy market.

I honestly don't care if modern music is good or not. The Grammys were NEVER good, even if music at some point was.

I honestly don't care if modern music is good or not. The Grammys were NEVER good, even if music at some point was. True. And their the only organization with a more convoluted voting process than the rock and roll hall of fame (which I felt should've been renamed when they started inducting rappers)
