Released March 22, 2005 on the Playstation 2 and re-released April 21, 2011 on Playstation 3. This game started it all for Kratos.   I ultimately did enjoy 2 more, however this game was still fun. What do you guys think? |

I didn't like GoW.
Kratos is not only flat-out unlikable, he's one of those special characters I wish a prolonged fiery death upon.

You liked 2 better than 1?
WHY?! Two ruined absolutely everything that the first tried to accomplish and successfully made it into the piece of crap that the series is today. The first one was a great attempt at recreating ancient Greek tragedy(Although it did have flaws), but then the second came out and completely ****ed the story every which way and turned it into a giant kill and **** everything that moves without anything resembling an intelligent plot.

I didn't mind the story in 2. Actually, I haven`t disliked any of these games yet, and the only one I haven`t played was Ascension. `shrug` Maybe I just enjoy going around hacking and slashing enemies.

I've only ever played Chains of Olympus on the PSP and it was okay, wasn't great by any means but not bad either.

I liked the story of one, and then two came out. By that time I was done. I didn't want anything more, because it became a mess.
