The soul reason that I like Transformers is due to the awesome 1986 Transformers movie. I dare anyone to attempt to name one movie with a better soundtrack. 8 Mile Curious George or any movie really..... Yes, because Eminem is a far better musician than Stan Bush. |

I actually like the one song from 8-Mile, the "theme" I guess... but Eminem in general is a perfect example of how all you have to do is be vulgar and spit vitriol, and people will call you talented in spite of evidence to the contrary. He's rap's answer to Rage Against The Machine.

That kind of music is somewhat of an acquired taste. Honestly, given your youth, I'm pretty shocked that you've got respect for the soaring guitar work of the hair metal generation. |

I must admit though the majority of older music that I like is due to nostalgia. It is all my father listens too, therefore I've been listening to music like that since I was three. So, in a strange way, I actually did grow up with that stuff. |
