Dragon Age Origins (and the expansion afterwards). I'm about to play them for the first time. Just thought I'd tell everybody.
After these games, I'm going to play Metal Gear Solid 4 (never played any MGS game before) and then Singularity (never played it before).

I tried DAO, use to own it. I hated it. Though that may just not be my type of game.

Personally, I'd play the other Metal Gears before 4, as the series is supposed to have a good plot.

Personally, I'd play the other Metal Gears before 4, as the series is supposed to have a good plot. I only have the 4th, lol. If by any chance I like it, I'll probably look deeper into the series. Same goes for Dragon Age. |

So, I'm not really a fan of Dragon Age Origins. I personally like fast paced games, and everything seems so slow paced. Will this change overtime, or no?
EDIT: Singularity is an amazing game so far though. Ba da ba da ba ba I'm lovin' it.

Metal gear solid games are masterpieces ... of garbage, yes. Not really, no. The beauty of Origins is that it's tactical, not button-mashy. The 2nd one was clearly designed for people like you. |

If you prefer gameplay over story, DA:O still wins out overall. If you prefer fast paced button mashers where you can win on the hardest difficulty by keeping your finger on the square button(You don't even need to use the analog stick) and you don't give a flying pigeon about the story, then DA2 is for you!(And so is every God of War after the first) |

I actually liked the story of DA2. It was the ONLY thing about DA2 that I felt was all that great. Gameplay-wise, it was a huge letdown compared to it's predecessor. I mean, the story wasn't anything great either, but it was compelling enough for me to finish the game.

I meant the overall story, including that of the characters and such as well as the side quests. |
