I usually roll with Alistair because he's more fun to have around, and I don't keep two warriors in my party most of the time. Sten has some interesting comments and stuff... but Alistair actually matters to the story, so it's worth having him around to activate his scenes. Sten's "big reveal" is that he's cukoo for swordy puffs. *eyeroll*

That part where he gives the templar who is guarding the river cookies and then proceeds to tell a story about how he stole them from a fat kid because he thought the kid was too fat. Hilarity.

I am considerably less enamored... though I do love the conversations in the camp where he gets on your ass for not going after the Archdemon directly, and (if you're a female), informs you that you cannot possibly be both a warrior and a woman. "One of these things cannot possibly be true."

On my first playthrough I got to the bloodmother and that thing kicked my a**. Sten hated me though. He eventually left. I stuck with Morrigan, Allistar and that little drunk dwarf (Can't remember his name)

I stuck with Morrigan, Allistar and that little drunk dwarf (Can't remember his name) Oghren. My least favorite character in the entire game (so of course, he shows up again in Awakening. *sigh*) The only fights that I lost badly in the entire game were the High Dragon (because I did that part WAY too early in the game), and the Broodmother. The combination of tentacles and her stupid minions make that a really difficult fight.

Shockingly, the 15 year old kid thinks the French bi-sexual is adorable 8) I actually find her kind of annoying, though she's easily one of the best party members if you're not playing a rogue yourself. Once she gets her uber-bow, she's a beast (and FAR more useful in combat than Zevran)

I had a lot of trouble with the Broodmother and quite a bit of trouble with the Archdemon...until I then realized that I could just send out elves, have Morrigan spam magic attacks, while I spammed ballistas. I then went ahead and bumped the difficulty up to Nightmare and easily beat the boss using this strategy.

If she's after bloodmother that explains it because eventually I just gave up. Didn't help that my first ps3 went down and that's what had the save file on it.

Also she looks really cute...(And she's much more attractive than that w**** Morrigan). That said I like both her's and Morrigan's characters the same. My personal favorite character is Loghain.

Didn't help that my first ps3 went down and that's what had the save file on it. You meet her at the Inn in the first town after the King and his army get slaughtered. You go inside, get jumped by a bunch of stupid soldiers, and she helps you fight them. If you ever want to play it again; stick a character designed to do high damage against single targets (usually a two-weapon rogue or a two-handed weapon warrior) on the Brood Mother and don't let them leave, make sure they stay alive and are always attacking her. Try to keep the rest of your party attacking her all the time too.... do not waste any time attacking the tentacles or her minions. Once she's dead, they go away. If she's alive, they just keep coming forever.

I really like DA:O but I've had a horrible time with save files and that game.

I'm going to make Alistair my tank I think... I personally made Sten my tank because I think the role fits him more than Alistair. No idea who that is, lol. All I have so far is Morrigan and Alistair Alistair fits the role to me, but once I meet somebody else, that may change, lol.

You can't miss him.(Also don't forget to catch Leliana in the inn at the same town, she's easily missed on your first go through)

I find Morrigan's body hot but I'm not much on gothic makeup.
