This is it, the big one, or the once big one. This company is THE name in gaming. From it's timely classic machines like the SNES to the Nintendo 64 with it's 3 handed controller, to the neglected Game Cube to the massively successful Wii. This company has spanned decades within console making. Sometimes they was a huge hit and sometimes.... "looks at the Virtual Boy".... not so much.
But despite their up's and downs, Nintendo is known for quality, rarely do you hear of Nintendo machines breaking. They are known for innovation and creating some of the biggest icons in consoles. Nintendo has made themselves so big that even people who don't know gaming at all, likely knows Nintendo.
So you want to share your views on this gaming phenomenon, then this tread is for you.

I grew up with Nintendo. I've had every Nintendo home console and a number of their portable ones. I didn't much like the Wii other than a few games but had a blast with all of their other systems. The SNES or N64 were probably my favorites though I also spent a lot of hours on the Gamecube as well. I've played almost every Zelda game and have owned countless other Nintendo titles from the first Super Mario Bros. all the way to some of their most recent titles.
I also applaud them for making durable hardware.

I used to have a Super Nintendo when I was really young, sold it to buy a N64. Don't get my wrong, I loved my N64 by damn, I want a Super Nintendo again. *cry*

Personally, Nintendo for me has been gone since after the N64.
Economically, the Nintendo wii sold more than both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It also brought in the same amount of money with video game sales. It was very successful economically, for some odd reason.
