I can't believe with all of the stupid crap in that movie, that's what you're hung up on. You do know that apes have thicker musculature than humans, and therefore a bullet could easily not penetrate the chest muscle tissue, and also that chimpanzees fall from trees pretty regularly, right? I'm pretty sure that cliff was just a tiny bit taller than the average tree. ... the actual distance he fell was no more than 30 feet. Then he tumbled down a hillside. |

Again, it's not as if the bullet was actually in his heart (probably). It was likely stuck in his pectoral muscle. You could see that he wasn't bleeding all that badly, since there was virtually no blood. What exactly are you so sure would have killed him? Boredom? |
