Yep, they got the shield wrong. It's made of an unknown vibranium/adamantium alloy, and before they had either of those two materials, it was undisclosed. They were right in regards to Wolvie's claws though.
I don't think Stan can be credited with the trademark shield throw, though. The fact that the source is from a book titled Stan Lee only further cements that opinion.
I also need to double check and see if The Captain came before or after Nomad.
I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the Amalgamated Super Soldier. They only wish they didn't.

This forum doesn't move at an undesirable pace, nor does it play distracting videos whilst I read, and finally, it's presented in a traditional format so I don't need the camera to jump around to present me the "facts."
That's intolerable.

So I went to my local comic book shop and picked up the trade Identity Crisis. Man this was a blast to read, how did this slip from my clutches for all these years.
So the setup is its Elongated mans birthday, and he's talking about his wife. How awesome she is and how she noticed him, when his wife is killed. All the heroes try to figure out what villain did this, while some already know who did this and how. Terrible secrets being told, some really big taboos being broken. This was just great.
Anyone know some really good Trades I may have missed out on? I was a marvel guy for so many years, I feel I may have missed some great DC tales.

I'm so glad to hear someone else liked Identity Crisis. A ton of fans absolutely hated it, and I can't figure out why. I loved it.
Pretty much all of the JLA reboot (not the Nu52 reboot, the one before that) story arcs were great, though they were progressive so I'd recommend reading them in order.

I'd get into reading Batman and Superman comics, if the book store actually stocked anything other than Avengers and New 52 comics. I like the Avengers, don't get me wrong, but sometimes a guy just wants to read Superman comics.
