Wait, Smith writes comics? I thought he was just a huge fan. Badly, yes. Joss Whedon on the other hand has written some really good stuff. I have no idea who that is, lol. |

Joss Whedon is the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse (on TV). He had a great run on a comic called "Astonishing X-Men"... it was very readable stuff, even for people who aren't really familiar with the X-Men mythos.
Joss Whedon is also the creative power behind the movie "The Avengers."

Kevin Smith can go suck a duck for all I'm concerned. smith is a good storyteller. His weakness though is too much writing. He over writes all the time |

It's fine I guess, but to me Eddie Brock is the only real Venom. The fact that they gave him a sidekick called "Mania" kind of proves that I'm not the only one who doesn't really care about the comic. Adding a teen sidekick is always a sign of desperation. |

Spidey '99 is one of the most intriguing characters I've ever come across and have been obsessed with since I was ten.
Cool suit, a unique origin that boggled my mind, and a futuristic setting. How could I not like him?
It's a shame he was part of the crappy 2099 universe.

Is Spider-Man 2099 good? As a character? No. The 2099 Universe was terribad. Punisher 2099 (cult of Thor baby!) and Doom 2099 were readable. The rest of it was crap. Spider-Man 2099 had a short cape of tattered webbing. Think about that. Tattered webbing. As in... webbing... with holes torn in it. Because, you know, webs are normally solid. And futuristic things should have tatters. *eyeroll* |
