The New52 is all about screwing the fans Nah. The fans caused it by whining that Superman wasn't "relevant" and Wonder Woman was outdated, etc.

After hearing you guys rave about Arrow for months, I've decided to give it a try and I like a lot of things about it.

Season 2 I don't think will be on Netflix until the DVD release, so I'll be playing the waiting game till fall

But if only another hero could pull off the vigilante/playboy thing without consistent use of plot armor

Holy crap, Deadpool made a non-4th Wall joke. Yeah, depending on the writers sometimes there are no 4th Wall Violations at all. He never uses them in Thunderbolts, which is why Thunderbolts doesn't suck.

Yes, as has been noted a number of times; Eastman & Laird were parodying the ultra-violent Daredevil comics of the period.

Can't see whatever you posted 8) So, Wolverine has a new suit. And it's the stupidest suit in Wolverine history. I have to say; DC really destroyed the look of costumes by going to the "armored look" for all of their Nu52 guys. Most of the time it doesn't even make sense. Guys with skin many times denser than skin are wearing body armor for what reason? A guy with a nearly instantaneous healing factor is wearing armor, why? If you're Batman or Captain America, there's some logic to it (though I would still argue that Cap's new armored suit looks really stupid most of the time), but for most of these characters, it's a complete waste of time.

They probably haven't ever had to put armor on. It takes way too ****ing long.

That should have been "many times denser than steel" btw. Denser than skin *shakes head*

Well, there is some sort of logic with Batman, as he's just a human, and it's probably ceremonial or something for Wonder Woman, but it is really pointless for just about everyone else.

Regarding Batman; it's always been assumed that he wears ballistic armor. The thing is, the stupid lines in his suit and everything don't give off the impression of legitimate body armor. They give off the impression that he's wearing the same kind of goofy space-aged super hero armor that apparently can be bought at the Justice League HQ gift shop, since virtually every single hero and villain in the New 52 has some.
