In the last several years, I've utterly lost my appreciation for Ozzy. I don't think there are more than 2 or 3 Ozzy songs I'd even bother to stop turning the radio dial for anymore. The musical quality just isn't there. I used to be a huge fan, but I'm honestly insulted that the old turd won't stop making albums. He hasn't put out a new song that wasn't utterly crap in years... and the song "No More Tears" needs to go away and never ever be played again anywhwere. I like "Mama I'm Coming Home" and "Close My Forever".....that's the extent of my love of Ozzy's music. Doesn't mean Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, blah blah blah and all of that stuff is terrible, but nothing fantastic or godlike if you ask me. I didn't even know he was making songs still though, that's news to me. Goes to show you how much I pay attention to him, lol. |

Close My Eyes Forever is a good song. Good call on that one. I haven't heard it in forever though.

Yeah, I don't get the love for "No More Tears" either. I do enjoy his newer songs, though, particularly "The Almighty Dollar."

I know Knight's going to hate me for this but I do like the Beatles. Not my favorite band of all time by any means but I like a lot of their songs. Of course, living with my sister who is the biggest Beatles nut I've ever met, I kinda have to.
and yea Elvis is the most overrated musician of all time as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a big Ozzy fan either.

The only Beatles music that didn't suck was the early pop rock stuff. Once they decided they mattered and had lessons to teach us, they became an even bigger joke than the bubble gum rock boy band that they started as. you can say that about pretty much the face of any musical revolution. Unfortunately those that popularized it get more credit then it's originators. And only a fool would believe psychedelic rock didn't exist before the Beatles and that Elvis is the most important figure in rock n roll. I have developed an appreciation for the Beatles as of late |
