I'm personally not a fan of the show but it's become very polarizing in the years following its cancellation. The major criticim's are It's
a show based on Jerry Seinfield's bit that's that in defense of his standup provide a slightly unique take in something the average person experiences (Jerry's never gotten more than a chuckle out of me in his act but I won't deny his comedic talent) the fact that it's a show about essentially nothing isn't hardly the worm of brilliance loyalist claim it is. But I'll give the show credit for deviating from the "here's a group of people and were gonna make you care about everything they do formula" but that has more to do with it being a comedic sitxom
2. The charachters weren't likable (Someone like Mike and or Knight will have to speak on this complaint.
So in closing I've never understood the extent of praise Seinfield but the same could be said for the dislike of it as well.

Meh... The most accurate word available to me to describe how I feel about Seinfeld. It's a very polarizing thing. I've heard observational comedy be done a little better than the likes of Seinfield (Mitch Hedberg and Hannibal Burres for example) the way Jerry delivers his sarcasm is probably the main reason I've never laughed at much of what he says. I don't like it because it's not funny. It's certainly not informative or insightful, so if I don't laugh, what's the point of it's existence?

To piss you off by creating a fanbase full of stupid people? Same reason Twilight exists... Not really the same thing. Twilight is of objectively low quality and teaches young girls horrible lessons about life, so it's legitimately a negative thing in the world. Seinfeld fans are mildly obnoxious in that they never seem to comprehend why everyone else doesn't love the show, but the show isn't damaging the fabric of humanity 8)

I never much liked Seinfield either. I've only seen a little of a few episodes and it just doesn't seem funny at all.

I do not watch Sit-Coms due to 90% of them having sad forms of humor.

I don't mind Jerry too much but I do think that, for the most part, the characters are unlikeable. I just plain don't like Julia Luis-Dreyfuss (don't really know why, just find her irritating) and the Kramer character became the obnoxious center of attention walking punchline pretty much immediately. I don't find someone funny just because they're spastic (though, to be fair, he was much funnier playing basically a retarded version of the same character in Weird Al's "UHF").
My favorite of the main four characters- and I use the term loosely because I'm not overly fond of any of them- is George, and even that is due mainly to the fact that I enjoy watching bad things happen to him. Though I've rarely tuned it to witness much of it.
Basically I never got into the show in the first place, it strikes me as faux hip and self-congratulatory. "It's revolutionary! It's a show about nothing!" Actually no it isn't, it's a 22 minute demonstration of observational humor held together by a loose plot, an emphasis on miscommunication, and terrible music. Sitcoms have been doing the same thing for decades.

I used to think Julia Luis-Dreyfuss was really hot. Then I realized who her Father was and decided I'd rather date a crocodile.

I actually think she's gotten more attractive over the years but I still don't like her. Can't really bring myself to do it. It's not even that I find her particularly unfunny- I don't really find her amusing but she doesn't strike me as particularly less amusing than anyone else- it's that somehow I get the impression that she thinks she's funnier than she actually is.

You just described my feelings about Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Seinfeld strikes me as a decent enough guy, I just think his humor and mine don't synch up.

I've seen a few episodes, which did make me chuckle. The episode about George getting out of the pool and there was shrinkage; a girl walked in and thought he had a small wang. It made me chuckle, but I don't hate the show. Nor do I have the love of the show that people seem to have.
