This is my first time ever going to a WWE event. What are they like? What are some experiences that you have had?

WWE live shows are usually a lot of fun, in my experience. They're not nearly as serious as they used to be, so if you're a "wrestling is serious business" type, you're in for a shock 8)

Yeah I didn't think an un-televised wrestling event would be that serious. I mean, RAW isn't even that serious lol.

Before and after the show the fans still cheer. This year before the show we were all Fandangoing and WOOING like Flair and yes chants, post show they played Fandangos music and we thought he was coming out...nope, but we did Fandango all the way outside.

That indeed sounds quite fun. I know that WWE crowds tend to almost form a single being. You feel like you are a part of something when you participate in the WWE crowd.

This is my first time ever going to a WWE event. What are they like? What are some experiences that you have had? The last time I was at a WWE event was probably 1990 or so. They're a lot of fun, it's a neat experience. Though it's weird to not hear commentary or see commercials. I remember lengthy breaks between matches. I have no idea what they're like now. I guess it's more like watching a play since all they do is talk and the various monitors ensure that you see all the stupid backstage sketches. More crowd interaction these days. Make sure to chant "what" like a complete asshole.

House show, RAW, Wrestlemania. Is there really a difference?

Isn't there going to be, like, some reporter chick or something at the new one? That thing about her doing a love triangle work with Punk and AJ?
I dunno. Maybe that's over with by now. I lose track of this crap.

I'm still not really convinced all of that was a work. I'm not saying it wasn't, it's entirely possible, but I put it at like 50/50. The WWE isn't acknowledging Punk and Lee's relationship on screen right now (since Punk is a babyface and Lee is a heel), so it wouldn't make sense... on the other hand, BECAUSE Punk is a babyface and Lee is a heel, the whole "Punk is a nice guy with lots of women friends and Lee is a psycho girlfriend type" thing does make sense.
In all, it's just incredibly stupid, but hey... if it is a work, you have to give WWE credit. They've got a bunch of supposed men sitting around discussing a storyline involving a Diva without using the words "boobs" or "crappy wrestler", so it's a win for them.

I agree to an extent but if it is a work then it just tells me that the writers still have a hard time figuring out how to push a female star as anything other than a romantic interest or eye candy.

Poor girl busts her ass week in and out to make everyone else look good, and she's going nowhere.

That's exactly what I mean. She's talented but she's a female so I guess they figure that if the two possible roles of eye candy and romantic interest won't work they'll just have her fart. Anything but push her as "Nattie Neidhart: great female wrestler", it's a concept they don't know how to reconcile.

The event was absolutely amazing. I love the atmosphere. I love the interaction. It feels so cool to be only feet away from real-life superheroes. It is a whole different experience. I may never look at wrestling the same way again.
I will say though, Ryback needs to follow through with his spinebusters. The dude just picks them up and drops them, without putting the effort in to go down with them.

Also, Damien Sandow was comedic gold. I can definantly see Soon's love for him.

I always spell definantly incorrectly. I personally prefer my spelling of it over society's. It gives me that much more uniqueness.
Recently I've compared Sandow to Curt Hennig. Both fantastic under-rated wrestlers, excellent mic workers, and both will never hold the WWE Championship.
