This year ended with the Wii U technically in the lead, with PS4 in second and the Xbox One in third.
December ended with PS4 in the lead with sales, followed by the Wii U, and then followed by the Xbox One.
The PS4 is expected to pass the Wii U's sales by Spring, as is the Xbox One.
The Xbox One and PS4 remain relatively close, and the PS4 is only pulling a thin lead right now.
The Wii U made a strong comeback in December due to Christmas and the fact that it is the 'family console', but otherwise people continue not to care about it.
