Owen was supposed to be The Game? No offense to him, but it suits Triple H much better. Not exactly. Once HHH made an off-handed comment that they were considering a gimmick similar to "The Game" for Owen, and it kind of exploded on the internet. The HHH haters came out of the woodwork to insist that he swooped in after Owen's death and stole his push, etc. All kinds of nonsense. When the statement was later clarified, all he really meant was that some elements of his "Game" gimmick were originally tossed around by creative for Owen. Here's the thing; I love HHH as everyone knows, but Owen was a very versatile performer who could have gotten crazy Over or could have spent his entire career in midcard hell. Impossible to really know... but I don't at all doubt that whatever the gimmick was supposed to be, Owen could have made it memorable. I mean, c'mon... he made being a crybaby who insisted that he was NOT a nugget on a weekly basis memorable...

Man, people give HHH so much hate for nothing. The IWC wouldn't be what it is without HHH hate. That was the thing that brought them together and transformed them from individuals into a mass of sheep that bleat the same tired nonsense week in and week out. Hating HHH brings people together. And makes them stupid.

I have an excuse for why I was temporarily a HHH-hater:
Bret Fucking Hart
He gave a shoot interview on HHH. He said how he wasnt impressed by HHH, especially with his recent (at the time) WM matches, because it was all brawling and such and it was boring. This was true, but I was deluded enough to feel that all HHH matches were that way, because it came from Bret Hart.
I have since found the light again. Like, last September.
I was an HHH fan before that, though. Then I was a Bret Hart is always right zombie, now Im a big fan of HHH again.

 Trips just can't win with these people. True, but don't think for a second that he doesn't love every second of that. He's milking it for all it's worth.

I think I found out why CM Punk left Whoever came up with this should be fired. He left because he wanted to sell ice cream?

I think I found out why CM Punk left Whoever came up with this should be fired. ... I actually thought that was really funny when I saw it. The only problem is that obviously those are marketed to kids, and very few kids that young remember anything from a year ago, so the whole "CM Punk & ice cream" relationship is lost on them.

Quick, unrelated question: What if Owen Hart had lived to receive his version of "The Game"gimmick, and HHH still got "The Game" gimmick also, the one we all know and love (to hate).
Owen's version would set to prove that he's the most technical wrestler ever and would back it up in the ring, as if (figuratively), he was Homo Superior and everyone else was just Homo Sapiens and worse, when in came to technical ability in the ring and althleticism.
HHH's version would be the one who wants to be the best, THE dominant one, at the top of the food chain. He would claim that nobody is above him in ANY sort of way.
Then, Owen Hart comes in, saying how he begs to differ, because he's the greatest technical wrestler of all time. HHH, not wanting to be outdone in any way (as said before), would challenge Owen to a match. This would start off another Owen Hart vs. HHH rivalry, full of awesome, technical matches.
Agree or disagree?
