Is an Agent Carter Show coming out this year?

An Agent Carter series might be joining Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. The Mirror reports that Atwell is "thrilled" about landing the prestigious role; that she begins filming the series soon, and it should be out by the end of the year.

Hayley Atwell also will be appearing in Captain America 2 this April.

Back in September it was reported that the Agent Carter series was in development, but Disney CEO Bob Iger didn't confirm the news when the Marvel Studios Netflix deal was announced, but he did offer one more series was being developed.

The Agent Carter series is described as being a big budget production and a major Marvel project for 2014.

What do you guys think of this?

I don't think scarlet johanson would agree to do that, I think she makes more money doing less work on movies

I'd watch if they got a better Black Widow.

As for Agent Carter...
Well, I guess I'd tune in to see if it can capture my interest, but it sounds to me like a big "meh."
I can understand Marvel saving the big guns for the big screen, I don't understand why they're flooding the television outlets with jobbers.
The Netflix series' don't count just so you know. Except for JJ. She kind of sucks.

Black Widow really isn't that interesting of a character, but then, Agents of SHIELD has pretty much sucked from pillar to post, so why not make one more boring show?

my God that show is terrible. The only thing I like about it is the one girl skye(?) she is really sexy. The Asian chick is abysmal on the show she tries to play the bad ass and it's so cringe worthy. Also Clark Gregg is even terrible on the show. Incredibly flat and emotionless and I like the agent coulson character in the movies
