Lmao. I can't wait for this movie, more so because of humor than anything.

The mere idea of Ant-Man sounds stupid to me. Very much so. Even they realize this, hence why they are making it a comedy, lol. I think having a different kind of super hero sounds good, but I'm not going to get my hopes up high since I don't even know how this is going to play out.

Ant-Man is a great character.
... except that this movie is going to utterly suck.

Ant-Man is a great character. ... except that this movie is going to utterly suck. I like Ant-Man as well...in the comics. I do think the movie is going to suck, but since there's nothing to really compare it to, I can't say that I know it's going to suck. I've never seen a comedy superhero movie....other than "Superhero Movie" which is meant to be stupid.

Turning one of the most well-rounded and authentic characters in comics into a comedy heist movie is a bad move. It's going to suck.
With all due respect to Edgar Wright... what he does is silly, brainless slapstick comedy. Why not let him do Deadpool, because hey, it doesn't matter if that $#@!s movie is stupid. Why Ant-Man, of all characters?

Remember when I said MARVEL was able to make second tier (by that I mean less well known) captivating and interesting? Yeah I retract that statement. But at least Winter Soldier looks like it fixed the one gripe I had with the first Captian America movie (Slow paced and lacking in overall excitement) Other than that I'd consider it as good as a cinematic re telling of Caps origin could be

I think I'm the only one that really liked the original Cap movie. I thought it was a great nod to the actual films of the period, as well as the general thrust of the early Cap comics

Then again, I really like Cap altogether. I give Marvel credit for not going for the overused "He doesn't know modern tech LOL" jokes.

I loathed captain america. Campy and corny even for my taste ... it was neither. In fact in some respects it parodied the campyness of the classic Captain America comic book covers, as I already mentioned earlier in this thread...
