To be fair I generally hate racing as in-game competition. I'm no good at them (though it's fun to note that I got sucked into one race so far- against Second Coming and someone else...may have been Tom? - and I won. ) and find them to be frustrating and not particularly fun. Strangely enough I don't mind them so much when they're a farming exercise like what we did last night. Thanks to you and Tom I've been able to unlock pretty much everything for my car (only a few races left I think) and those slipstreams were the only way I was likely to ever get that gasoline green paint job that I love so much. That race was far more rewarding when Tom and I did it, we made something like $2000 bucks a pop for 30 seconds of work. We did that for maybe an hour and were planning to do more the next day but they literally released the patch that very next morning and screwed everything up. $200 bucks per victory now? That won't buy the ammo it takes to shoot the first guy who tries to steal my car! It's pointless now...that is, except for quickly unlocking car parts. I don't know why using super cars unlocks parts for all models but THANK GOD it does, could you imagine if we had to do all this for EVERY different model class in the game? So anyway yeah I don't mind helping back since you helped to get me the unlocks that I needed. Maybe you can just let me win a few and then I can give you the next couple dozen split over the weekend or something. And you weren't bugging me earlier, sometimes I just can't respond because the game lags out on me and winds up putting me in another mission, another lobby, or more often than not keeps me looking at the clouds above the city for five straight minutes.

Yes, I prefer muscle cars, sports classics and trucks over super cars. But for the sake of getting everything done at once, I'll gladly use the super car. Doing all this for every class, man it'd take like 8 or 9 times longer. We'd be a solid week, if not 2 just racing to unlock parts. Also good to know I didn't bother you. The first night you seemed quite responsive, then last night much less so. So I wasn't sure if it was technical or if I was sending to many messages your way. For races we can keep trading wins till you get your remaining few done. If you want to just give me the wins after that, then that's fine. I need to be behind you in more races anyway to try to finish up those slipstreams.

Nah last night my game messed up a couple of times, brief lag got me killed in a survival game and there was more than one occasion where I backed out of our races to check our numbers or whatever and the game would just hang there for a while on the overhead city screen. I've noticed that when this happens bringing up my message box (to say nothing of trying to crawl out a message) stalls things even more. And remember that time when I was trying to give Tom a hand? He just needed help with a single mission but I never even got in, the game hung for several minutes as I tried to join, said there was an error joining and then chose to just stick me in a different lobby instead, hung for several more minutes doing that, and hung a little bit longer when I tried to get back into my own lobby. To top it off my friend from out of state called last night and probably distracted me even more. From now on you guys should all be aware that if you see me playing the game online and don't respond to your message it's either because I'm in a mission where I can't take the time to respond or the game is going through one of its sometimes lengthy, sometimes error-prone loading processes, and will try to get back to you when I can. But yeah we can trade a few and I'll give you the airfield streams on my wins and then when I'm all caught up I'll just give you ten straight wins or something. If we do that maybe twice then I think you'll be all unlocked.

Alright, sounds cool.
I'm pretty sure yesterday I asked at least once, maybe a few times if you could invite me to your game session. I was getting tired of random people going out of there way to even chase me up a mountain just to shoot me. But I guess seeing as laggy as your game was that night, it's good you only invited me to missions. lol

I do remember seeing one where you were like "please dude, the people here are all being assholes" lol, and I think it was after that that I responded and set up the racing. I don't remember seeing earlier messages like that, if you sent them then they came during either a mission or one of the aforementioned loading issues and I didn't catch them. It's going back and forth between lobbies and setting up / leaving missions through the job menu that seem to corner me into some kind of stalling session. For the most part things work alright when I just stay in a single lobby for a while (though I did get two boots yesterday for "unknown network errors" on the Sony side of things).
I've also noticed that sometimes PSN decides to insist on auto-filling my messages and refuses to let me add spaces or choose my own words. I can't even tell you how much frustration that can cause.

lol yea. That night I was on my bike, went up over this big ass hill, wasn't chillid but still a mountain and someone had nothing better to do then follow me all the way up there just to shoot me and drive off. Online wasn't fit last night, I think maybe 80% of guys on must of been bad sport players. lol.
That was the same day where I got the Rat Loader, took it to the garage just to get gunned down and for the guy to blow it up before I could get full coverage on it. It took me hours to find that thing again. I went into invite only mode for a while to find that car.
So needless to say it would of been much better going around with you yesterday then with them, so I was hoping you would invite me in. lol.
Like I understand people going out of there way if you have a bounty, I've tracked bounty guys pretty far myself. But to do it for nothing, just to randomly kill you and drive off? It leaves you like "what the hell dude?"
As for the auto filter, I never had that issue. PSN disconnected once on me tonight, but otherwise been pretty good.

So far I've been lucky and only had that happen once- some griefer interrupted a death match series between me and Second Coming a few weeks ago- first he followed and killed Second half a dozen times until he quit and then, because I was nearby just trying to do do my thing with Second, the guy turned his attention to me and killed me half a dozen times as well. Finally on my last spawn I decided to just hop into a car, drive down the highway and start driving up a mountainside because I figured that the distance and effort I'd put between us would make him lose interest. Nope, I checked my map and saw that he started coming in my direction- even though he was blocks away- and even started driving up the same mountainside after me. f*** this, quit.
I'm fine with people killing me in friend lobbies because I know the people there and can feel comfortable that they aren't going to be unsportsmanlike (kill me and steal my money after a mission, etc.) and that they're just having fun, not trying to spam their k/d ratio by slaughtering everyone who's trying to get things done. I accept that the game is Grand Theft Auto and that there's an expected degree of anarchy but sometimes you don't feel like playing a game just to be hunted by some asshole for an hour.
EDIT: Almost forgot the auto-fill thing. Yeah, I'd say every ten messages or so the system will mess up and absolutely NOT let me type what I want. If I try to input a space, pressing the space button will delete the previous word. If I try to type "misunderstood" the system will insist that I want to say "mistake". It's infuriating.

I wonder how do you increase strength in GTA Online? I got max driving, shooting, and stamina with the second character (girl one) but the strength is still low. I must of ranked up to 20/100 strength a half dozen times now. Whatever I'm doing randomly isn't getting me past 20. lol

Not intending to spam the forum or nothing, but damn I wish PS3 had a recording feature like PS4 has, record the last 5 minutes of your game or something. I'm trying to do this stunt jump, and man if I could only show you all the stuff I'm pulling off. I'm failing the stunt, but in awesome friggen ways, I like to call it awesome fails.
Also any idea when or if we'll get a third character slot? I got 2 characters with 10 car garages, currently 19 cars and saving up for #20 and I'm still now satisfied. I still have more cars I want to collect and custom. lol.
I need another 10 car garage. XD

I don't think I'd even want a second character, it takes forever to level up just one. Speaking of strength I don't recall if mine is maxed or not. If it is I honestly couldn't tell you what caused it, I don't do a lot of physical fighting with my character. Meanwhile I've been flying every chance I get and while I'm a better pilot that most people I see online (even those at much higher levels) it seems to take forever for the skill to improve.
And yeah there are player kill / death ratios in the stats screen, some people get really hung up and proud about stuff like that.

Either you're much more peaceful or a much worse shot. XD
I don't remember my numbers, only that my ratio is almost 1:1, lopsided slightly toward the "death" side.

Well I generally avoid shootouts. I only shoot either AI's in survivals or bounty players. I've played 1, maybe 2 death matches so far.
I always bank money, constantly. So very rarely do people get my money from shooting me and even more rarely do I care to shoot back. Only time I'm ever after anyone is if I'm with the user mk99 (not full name, I just shortened it). Sometimes he tends to go after people, I think his rivals (though I'm not entirely sure), and I end up getting drawn into the action. But he's been on other games lately, so I haven't been bother very many people.

I sniped that one player-killer in the game I described a few days ago, which was one of my favorite moments of GTA online. That was a special case though. Usually if I enter a lobby and see a lot of "Bla bla X2757265" killed "GangstaMoney420" messages I usually just quit right out to a different one.

Well Garage 2 now has.
- Maibatsu Penwmbra. - Karin Rebel. - Karin Rebel (rusty, will be turned into rally car. For some reason you need the rusty version, the options aren't on the clean truck.) - Rat Loader (rusty, far as I know they only come that way. Will be turned into hot rod.) - Albany Manana. - Bati 801RR. - BF Bifta. - Bravardo Buffalo. - Vapid Dominator. - Empty space reserved for Stinger GT.
Check my photos I posted in the other thread to see my first 10 cars.

I don't even remember the names of the cars in my garage. Let's see...
* Sky blue and pastel pink BF Injection * Sky blue '57 Chevy lookalike * Pink Cadillac lookalike * Red and black Penumbra * Brown and black buggy from the new beach pack * Black and brown car that looks like a muscle Dominator but isn't * Red and orange Dominator * Hot pink $100,000 sport car whose name I forget * My beloved Entity, the Emerald Bullet
- And a couple of other ones, lol

It's a great racing car color, though I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it on that model. I don't currently have any yellow cars and that's another good sporty color. Then there's the pink Cadillac, but that's an iconic image.
I actually really like the color pink, it's a shame that it's so closely tied with femininity.
