... every time someone claims that Flash is their favorite DC character my eye twitches... flash is my favorite character. Wally to be more exact but you already know this and we had this talk. Why do you have a mini seizure when someone likes the flash Because he's the most generic character in DC's A-list.

cause he is the most relatable justice league member to me. He's not a bat ninja with a billion dollar networth, King of the seven seas, bearer of the most powerful weapon in the universe, the last of his alien kind. He's a middle class man whos job was a mechanic. He a very similar personality to mine, always Hungary like me he also had a very slow but incredible development from annoying fuckhead who hit in every girl he knew to marrying and being the father of two

He's a middle class man whos job was a mechanic. Then he got struck by lightning(Or something) and can now run faster than the speed of light and atomize things by punching them.(Or something)

During the day he patrolled the streets as flash and bye night he worked as a mechanic for the police station

He may be easy to relate to, I suppose, but he's also 100% generic and boring. His "personality" consists of being the immature, wise-cracking one.
It's also funny that you describe everyone else by their abilities, but describe Wally by who he is. Yes, of course, if you state things that way, Wally sounds like he's the more well-rounded character. If, however, you compare "generic smartassy mechanic" to the actually comparable traits of those other characters... "duty bound son of murder victims who feels the need to constantly build a new family to replace the one he lost", "orphan with an identity crisis, bound to a duty he doesn't fully understand", "duty-bound test pilot who was very comfortable with his place in the world until he found out that the world was so much bigger than he ever could have imagined", and "designated savior of humankind who has to balance being a symbol to all of humanity with the fact that he is not, himself, human, to say nothing of coming to grips with his limitations in spite of all of his powers and the faith others place in him" then suddenly you realize that Wally is, in fact, a turd 8)
That's one of the reasons why Barry Allen mattered and Wally West didn't... Barry was a scientist and brought something to the table aside from his powerset. Wally is just a big mouth who causes as much trouble as he fixes.
(Also, Clark Kent and Hal Jordan are decidedly middle class, blue collar heroes)

I'll probably check it out, but unlike most of the fanbase (apparently), I'm not convinced that what went wrong the first time was the show focusing increasingly on the broader world and less on "ordinary people coping with their newfound super powers." IMO the charm of that concept tends to wear off fairly quickly.

I have no idea what Tour of Duty even is.
Has anybody been watching the Street Fighter web series that Machinima put out?

I unsubbed from Machinima a while ago. Most of the stuff they were putting out were ads, news, and Pewdiepie rip-offs, none of which I cared about.

I have no idea what Tour of Duty even is. It's your usual war flick TV show that takes place during the Vietnam War.

Okay. What am I missing that makes you want to watch this show? The dudes trying to mean mug on the cover alone seem to indicate that I wouldn't possibly care.

I used to watch it as a kid and it was one of the things that stuck out to me. I wanted to re-watch it to see if it was as good as I remember it being.

I was referring to their youtube channel, it didn't even occur to me that you could be referring to something else. Oh, yes then, it is on youtube. I'm not subscribed to their channel (I'm subscribed to too many channels already), but when you fire up the XBox you get a bunch of little boxes (ads basically) for things they think you'd like. Game trailers, tv shows, etc. This was one of them. Their Mortal Kombat series was pretty bad, but I decided to check out the Street Fighter thing anyway. It's passable. That "Tour of Duty" series was apparently reviewed very well, so it might not suck. I may check it out at some time. I had honestly never heard of it.

I think my favorite so far was the one that dealt with racial issues(It's titled Burn, Baby, Burn), despite having gone into it expecting to dislike it. I also liked Notes from the Underground, Sitting Ducks, and Brothers, Fathers, and Sons.
