So, I was flicking through the channels earlier.... Got to one channel & this is what I saw... & In all honesty it was probably the funniest thing I've seen for a while & Is the only, THE ONLY, TV Show I've ever seen where the english speaking people need subtitles and even then the subtitles make no sense at all.

You should watch more Cops then (for the subtitles)
So here's the thing; the Honey Boo Boo family is blatantly awful and them going away would make me feel much more charitable toward the rest of the human race (because, let's face it, they don't have a hit show on their own... millions of people are watching this crap), but I had to give a modicum of respect to that woman when I learned that she spends NONE of the money they make from that show. Every single penny goes into an account to provide a college education for her children. She may not be as stupid as the character she plays on TV.

This has nothing to do with that show, but I read somewhere that Chum Lee (Pawn Stars I think is the show) is one of the smartest people that buy/sell stuff there....

They play up the "Chum is SO stupid" stuff on the show, but in reality he's actually very savvy with certain items, mostly modern pop culture stuff. He also has a lot more money than they let on, on the show. They make it seem like he's a wage slave employee of the company, but he's actually got a net worth nearing $1M

He has bought quite a few high priced things on the show, Usually modern stuff like Classic video game stuff.

Let's face it... Chum is a manager in that store, they acknowledge that. If you had a shop with net profit in the millions, would you leave it in the hands of someone as stupid as Chum appears to be on the show?
I do sometimes wonder if he's hurt emotionally by having to play such a dumb character, or if he just laughs all the way to the bank, like Jessica Simpson did.

He probably enjoys acting the fool & Saying some stupid shit.

So I've been watching Dexter on Netflix. Very mediocre show. The Whole Dexter serial killer story line is somewhat compelling for the first few seasons, however all of the other secondary storylines are just bad hill street blues style cop drama.

Nowadays I'll watch the occasional episode of Modern Family, but that's about it.
I used to watch the Walking Dead a lot, but I can't watch it anymore knowing that they'll just off my favorite characters, after developing them so well. That's not a slam against the show, it's somewhat of a complement, they know how to screw with the audience's emotions.

I seem to recall Pawn Stars to be an abysmal waste of my time. But there are so many friggin' Pawn War Storage Star shows I could be confusing one for the other. Either way, I cannot imagine my decision to falter.
I used to watch House a lot until season 4. Stopped completely when it sucked.

I'm on Season 8 of Smallville!!! I also watch Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on my free time because I've got nothing better to do. After Smallville, I plan on going to the show "Community" to see if I like that.

Under the Dome was a lot of fun for it's first season. My only complaint is that they probably could have told just as much story with half as many episodes, but I still really enjoyed it.

I don't know if anybody here is an NCIS fan (I'm not, in particular), but they're doing yet another spin-off, set in New Orleans, and Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Enterprise) is going to play the lead.
