The REAL Evil Dead movies were outstanding. The remake was garbage.
Campbell has made his entire career of doing campy stuff, and he does it very well. What's to know?

I'm probably the only person on the earth to know Bruce Campbell primarily through Burn Notice. I was aware he was from the Evil Dead flicks, but I've never watched them (I don't think). *Honk* |

If you don't like Army of Darkness, you don't have a sense of humor.
Burn Notice was awesome though. Sam Axe was a great character.

If you don't like Army of Darkness, you don't have a sense of humor. Burn Notice was awesome though. Sam Axe was a great character. Burn Notice was indeed awesome. I didn't expect to like the TV special "The Fall of Sam Axe" that well, but I ended up liking it more than I could have imagined. It's a shame that Burn Notice never got more popular than it did. *Honk* |

And yes my exposure of him was through Burn Notice, which I didn't really get into until the final season was announced |

So, I've been watching "Heroes" lately and the first season I believe was amazing. Second was really stupid though. However, the third isn't too bad so far, I'm just confused as to why they put two volumes into one season.

Because the ratings had fallen so badly (due to the 2nd season sucking) that they didn't think they'd get a 4th season, and they wanted to tell the whole story arc they'd intended. |

I think Season 3 must have done well enough to justify the 4th season.. though it's possible that the network simply had nothing better to put up. A lot of times "ratings" are a relative thing. A show can get ratings that other shows would kill for, but for various reasons (the cost per episode of producing the show, the time slot, etc), the show is considered a failure. My understanding about Heroes Reborn is that it's all new characters, kind of experiencing the events of the original show from a different perspective. Heroes Reborn is supposed to remain more personal, like the first season, rather than focusing on the "world sweeping" events. |

I almost think that the actor that plays Sylar isn't necessarily bad, he just seems to be more of a "hero" role. I don't know why he was casted as a villain. Like I said, he's not bad at it, he's actually pretty good, but I don't think he has that scary factor for a villain, lol.

I would hardly say that Quinto is a great actor, but he's going to get called that anyway, because; homosexual. He's certainly never disappointed me in a role though, and he's a great choice for Spock.
