I'm sure it'll be on both consoles for at least one year, but I'm terrified by them talking about their "development expertise." Again, that suggests to me a more "super sim!" style game, like their sports titles. Blech.

I think the balance between "sim" and "arcade" (or more accurately, "challenging" and "casual") style gaming is a delicate one, and one of the few areas where the current WWE series has generally been very strong. A lot of fans really like supposedly "sim" titles like FirePro. I'm simply not one of them.

I really have only one problem with them going full-on simulation: Chances are, I won't be able to play multiplayer with my friends anymore.

Do you think that there might a chance that if it's implemented correctly enough, it will still draw you in?

Thoughts? Will you buy it on Next Gen? Will It Be on PS3 & 360? I think that's good news. And I believe that it'll be on PS3 and 360 too.

They're all casual gamers/wrestling fans. Well if it's anything like NBA 2K games they could have a casual gamer slider setting so for people who want to play with a casual setting can play well casual and people who want to play sim can play sim. Also from my understand on online gameplay it's always set to a casual setting.

I kind of waffle in between the "casual" and "hardcore sim" crowds. I actually like games from both categories and when it comes to WWE games I do like a strong degree of accuracy to the sport itself, but I don't have much fun if the games wind up weighted down with what I consider to be a hypersensitive sense of realism. I get that there are those that love fine-tuning their experience, replicating exactly what happens on tv and paying careful attention to weight and strength attributes, but sometimes I just want to walk over and suplex a guy.

I'd like to try more of a sim experience to be honest. I'm not much on arcade-y stuff. That being said I do enjoy the gameplay from this year, but it could be better, we'll see.
I'm actually debating on whether I will get a next-gen console this year or not. I don't know yet, it depends on a lot of things like money, plans for both the PS3,PS4, and XboxOne, and how much different and/or better/worse NBA 2k15 and WWE 2k15 are on PS4 and XboxOne

Also from my understand on online gameplay it's always set to a casual setting. Do not be drawn into this lie. The "casual slider" is a ridiculous misnomer. What it actually does is turn the game to Kindergarten mode. There is no proper way to create a game that can be more or less "sim" based on settings. It's about the strategies the game employs and the complexity of the controls. In both cases, a move toward the casual unquestionably means a loss of options for the casual gamer. $#@! this condescending nonsense from the "core" gamers.
