As I said the other day in the "Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailers" thread, I'm growing more interested in the idea of reading Comics & I just wanted to ask the comic book readers of the forum where would I start? & What would you recommend? Some of my favorite Superheros would be, Iron Man, Batman, Spider-Man, Hulk  Oh and more but my minds gone blank. |

Iron-Man just got a fresh start a couple of years ago with Invincible Iron Man, so just find #1 and read from there. Hulk got a restart too but I can't remember the name of his series. It's okay, not great. Superior Spider-Man #1 is the place to start with Spider-Man.
Batman sucks, but if you must inflict that kind of punishment on yourself, I would suggest starting with the Nu52 reboots from a couple of years ago.

Avengers have a bunch of titles, I don't particularly like any of them except Avengers Arena and Uncanny Avengers

Nova is awesome both incarnations of nova. The short lived gambit one I enjoyed. It was like spy James Bond thing but with gambit. The flash new 52 is one of the two new 52 comics that I like the other being aquaman even though aquaman new 52 is basically a picture book. The Geoff John omnibuses for Wally west flash are great I loved them. Daredevil(better batman) is great

Yeah, I actually do recommend Nova, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy. Daredevil has been good too.

Yeah, I'm on the opposite side of Joey. I hate everything to do with Marvel's "space" stuff aside from Guardians of the Galaxy. It's almost entirely silly.

I don't know why so many like Nova (either of them) the character (both Sam and Richard) are really boring to me.

It's Sam Alexander but not. He's got Sam's name but Dick Ryder's (*snicker*) helmet...
Sam is a black helmet, an elite. Ryder was just another GL ripoff.
