Thoughts? again only rumors.

My thoughts?
1. It's not going to happen.
2. It's not going to happen because WWE won't allow Undertaker to lose that streak.
3. It's not going to happen because Ryback sucks.
4. It's not going to happen.

Hopefully it stays a rumor and nothing.
I rather see Taker face a heel Sheamus over the likes of RyBack and his botching brother Lesnar.

It's not going to happen. I'm not sure I agree with #2, but the rest of these are accurate. If WWE lets 'Taker's streak end, it's not going to be to a guy who has twice failed to make anything of massive pushes that had been handed to him.

It's not going to happen. Especially at this point. Ryback has a piss poor attitude backstage and has essentially flopped every time they've tried to push the guy since he became a heel.

If they'd put Sheamus against 'Taker when he was the new hot monster heel, it would have been a good program and Sheamus would have actually been a good choice to end the streak... but those days are long past, and I don't see any point in attempting to paint Sheamus as a logical contender at this point.

Personally, I don't think they'll ever have him lose the streak. His fan base is too big. I know several people in the past that have said they will stop watching altogether if he loses at WM. I've stopped caring really. I think if anybody was going to end it it should have been Michaels but meh I really don't even care anymore, I just want the guy to retire.

The only people I thought at the time would break the streak was Orton, Batista and Michaels(2nd time)

I know tons of people that said they'd move to Canada if Bush won re-election. Unfortunately all of them were still here to vote for Obama. WWE isn't going to lose fans because Undertaker's streak ends, and out of respect for the business, he should follow tradition and go out on his back helping a younger talent in creating his own Legend. A lot of the names that get floated make no sense. Why would Cena, already WWE's closest equivalent to Ric Flair, end the streak? He's got nothing to gain. Same with Orton, etc. If the streak is going to end (and it definitely should), it needs to be someone who is already established enough that the distinction won't go to waste, but who has enough years left on his career to build on the Legend. In WWE's current roster, guys who fit that bill are few and far between.

Not really, but I don't know, he would do something drastic. Other than that though you're right but I think at least a few would stop, not that a few would really matter that much. I agree completely on your second point.

Well Taker is already supposed to be facing Lesnar the last I heard. And seeing.
A) How broken up Taker is.
B) The reputation Lesnar has for injuring people (He obviously don't go easy on the elders, he's already taker McMahon out last year).
C) Taker and Lesnar actually supposedly has some real life heat between each other.
I'm thinking if this match happens Taker will probably be forcefully retired with the Streak.
You know what.... I think Taker would be safer with Ryback then with Lesnar.

I could see 'Taker beating Lesnar at WM30, but being "forced to retire" due to injuries. It would cement Lesnar's legacy as "the Beast" and Undertaker's legacy as the toughest man in the history of the business. The match would suck horribly, but any Undertaker match is going to suck at this point.
Of course he would. Ryback isn't a great worker, but he's not particularly dangerous in the ring. Lesnar is a walking disaster.

Sting vs. Taker is a pipe dream. Oddly, it would be the ONLY Undertaker match that I personally could give a crap about.
