Got my XBone yesterday with tax return money. Didn't buy any games for it yet. It's pretty awesome in a lot of ways... the apps are largely "upgrades" from their 360 versions in some way, and the voice commands are surprisingly useful. My son is very paranoid about the Kinect and keeps the little plastic cover that came with the stand on, which cracks me up to no end.
One thing that bums me out is that currently streaming from PC to the One is not supported unless you have Windows 8. You can do it via an app, but that's more effort than I think I should have to go to. Supposedly it's coming in future updates though.

I was, but several things happened between then and now to make me more or less apathetic about the choice. The kids wanted the One, so that's what we got. Literally the only thing I could put in the "plus" column for choosing the PS4 over the One was that I wanted to try the Uncharted series. Everything else seemed like choosing between six and half-a-dozen 8) |

The Uncharted series is great.....and I'm a Sony follower.
If you're into XB products more though (which I know you are), Uncharted's not worth switching over, lol.

I'm really not into MS products. I sincerely don't care. I buy whatever suits my needs. XBox has zero exclusives that I care about. The only major difference to me is the controllers... and I can get a PS controller laid out like an XBox controller if I want to.
If it had been just me... I would have gone with the PS4 and never looked back, but the kids do get something of a say.

Cool, I plan on going next-gen a little later in the year. Maybe in 3-4 months. I'll probably be getting a PS4 though.
Does that mean you'll get 2K15 on XBO?

I'm lucky. The only kids I have to worry about (at least right now) are my two younger bros, and they both like Sony too, lol. Although, if they were to both like Xbox, I'd have no problem ever switching back. In fact, at one point I did switch over, just for them (a whole 2 or 3 years I believe).
I honestly don't like many "exclusives" though when it comes to the 360 and ps3. On either side. Uncharted I like. I like Gears of War sometimes. Halo CE (which is just a regular xbox game compatible with the 360) was good (none of the other ones). Other than that, I can't think of any exclusives on PS3 and 360 that I enjoyed.
