BEHOLD! WSS'S TOP 25 FAVORITE GAMES LIST, IN ORDER!
Note: I'm only counting games that I've beaten, or played a lot of in the case of endless games
25.
Call of Duty: Black Ops
...Do I even have to say anything? It's Call of Duty. The story is enjoyable, the campaign is fun, Zombies mode is REALLY fun. My only issue with it is the multiplayer, which I just can't stand. Ooh, and the lack of healthbars. Not a fan of that. Regardless, this is a fun game, and is by far the best of the CODs I've played.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance
A game revolving around making your own super teams and fighting Doctor Doom? Count me in. An excellent RPG, and definitely Marvel's best licensed game. The selection of heroes is awesome, the gameplay is fun, and the story is enjoyable. Granted the graphics are butt-ugly, but otherwise, the game is a lot of fun.

State of Decay
The idea of State of Decay is simple: Lead your group in the zombie apocalypse, and survive. Sure, there's story missions, but who plays those? The combat is enjoyable but repetitive, but that's not the game's focus. The focus is on survival. Building bases, scavenging for supplies, hunting particularly dangerous zombies, etc. It's an extremely fun timesink.

22.
Terraria
I like Minecraft, but I love Terraria. Where Minecraft focuses on building, Terraria focuses on adventuring, collecting loot, and fighting extremely difficult boss fights. There's no story, but it doesn't really needed. Like the above entry, it's just a great timesink.

21.
Sid Meier's Pirates!
This game might as well be called "Pirate Simulator," but I guess Pirates! had a better ring to it. Name aside, this game is amazing. Sack a city, sink a ship, marry a mayor's daughter, discover buried treasure, you can do just about anything you want in this game. The entire game plays extremely smoothly, and is an excellent simulation game.

Killing Floor
One day, someone was sitting around thinking "What if I combined Brutal Legend's awesome soundtrack, Resident Evil's atmosphere and enemies, Mortal Kombat's gore, and Left 4 Dead's excellent gunplay and co-op?" Suddenly, Killing Floor was born. Okay, maybe that's not how it went down, but I like to think that's what happened, dangit! Anyways, this game is just too much fun. Every gun feels good to shoot, all of the enemies are nasty and fun to shoot up, and the rock soundtrack is just plain bad-%@#. This game is truly awesome.

WWE 2K14
Now this is a wrestling game. I know, season mode and all that, this game trumps all previous WWE games, in all ways. The matches are fun, the attires and entrances are spot-on, the Creation Suite is practically limitless, Universe mode has endless replayability, and the roster is an excellent mix of superstars and legends. All-around, an excellent game.

Red Dead Redemption (Multiplayer)
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Why just the multiplayer?" Well, my friends, the answer to that question is that the fine gentleman making this list was too cheap to buy the full game, and instead bought the considerably less expensive Undead Nightmare version. In case you're wondering, yes, he does regret not getting the full game.
...Anyways, I sunk probably over a hundred hours into this. Whether I was grouping together with other random people to take control of a city, or wiping out a group of bandits, or just getting some good 'ol fashion payback on a guy for blowing up my hard-earned wagon, I was having fun.

Psychonauts
...Yeah, that picture's pretty correct.
Many rank Psychonauts as the #1 most underrated game of all time. Personally, I'd rank it as #2, with #1 being further down this list. That said, this still an amazing game. Basically, it's about entering the minds of nutty people, and fixing them. This, of course, opens up a lot of opportunities, and the devs did awesome work these opportunities. As the picture explains, the game's characters, dialogue, story and all that are the game's best part, but the platforming, boss fights, and combat are all excellent in their own rights.

Injustice: Gods Among Us
What happens when the guys who make the Mortal Kombat games are handed the DC license? An incredibly mediocre game, that's what. However, what happens when they get a second chance? Pure awesomeness. This game is fun in a lot of ways. Story mode is fun and interesting, S.T.A.R.S. mode is addictive (And the most difficult thing I've ever played, I might add), and of course, there's not much like sitting down and playing a round or two with your pals. There's plenty of online content, though the competition is tough, trust me. Overall, an excellent fighting game.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
PFFFT. Assassin's Creed? LOOOOOOOOL that's for casuals.
Okay, just kidding. This is a genuinely excellent game. The story is top-notch, the stealth is incredibly fun, the combat, though easy, is tons of fun to watch, and there's so much content that I've been playing it for three years and I still haven't got 100%. A tremendous game, and far and away the best in the series.

Half-Life 2
What can be said about Half-Life 2 that hasn't already been said?
...
I dunno. Half-Life 2 is like a donkey riding a truck with 3 wheels tumbling down Mt. Everest. Bet no one's said that.
...
Anyways, there's reasons many'd call this the greatest game of all time. The graphics are beautiful, and still hold up to this day. The gunplay is excellent. The story is great. The enemy design is the most unique and original I've seen in any game, ever. The voice acting is excellent. The characters are iconic. The level design is great.Donkey riding a truck with 3 wheels tumbling down Mt. Everest Half Life 2 got everything right.
Blatantly stealing JonTron jokes FTW!

Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty
Yes, I know, Sons of Liberty is the worst in the series and all that. It's the only one I've played, so shut up. Passive aggression towards nonexistent people aside, I love this game. The stealth is well known for how fun it is, the combat itself is fairly enjoyable, the boss fights are some of the best I've ever seen (Has anyone else noticed how many commas I use?), but hands-down, my favorite thing in the game is the story. It starts simple, but man, does it escalate. To explain it would be to spoil it, so I'll just say, I love it.

Bully
My #1 most underrated game, when everyone else was playing GTA, I was playing this. I felt that the story was better, the world was better, the combat was better, and the graphics were ahead by leaps and bounds. One of the very first games I completed, nostalgia may be a factor. Or, maybe, it was so great, it convinced me to become a hardcore gamer. Who knows? All I know is that this game is still boatloads of fun to this day.

Gears of War 3
These games get a lot of crap for having mediocre stories, having colorless art, and being "Male Fantasies." I laugh at all three of these. I find the story enjoyable. The first two may not have had much color, but the third one had plenty. And lastly, well, I'm afraid I don't dream of being in Marcus' situation, losing friends and family, living in a world that is practically hell, and regularly getting shot. Hipsters will be hipsters, I guess. Alright, enough of me moaning about people who disagree with me, this game is awesome.

Left 4 Dead 2
Oh boy, top 10, here we go...
Zombies. I love 'em. Unfortunately, this is not my top 25 fetishes list, so here's a game about shooting up zombies with your buds, by our good friends at Valve. Easily the greatest co-op game of all time, teamwork is an essential skill in this game. If you split up, you're screwed. If you ignore your teammates wellness, you're screwed. If you don't spread the loot, you're screwed. Don't worry about dickbag teammates: They're screwed. Aside from that, the game is lots of fun. Every weapon is great to use, the random generation system makes every playthrough different, and most of all, the characters are absolutely friggin' hilarious.

Saint's Row: The Third
With IV, it seemed like the GTA series was going down a darker, more serious route. So, logically, their competitors, the Saint's Row series decided to go in the opposite direction. Now it's got luchadors, Twilight-parodies, samurai/hackers/hipsters,wrestling moves, and giant fists that blow up things that they punch. This is, undeniably, a massive improvement. This game is hilarious at every turn, the characters are extremely enjoyable, the gameplay is great fun, the driving is excellent, the vehicle customization is excellent... I can keep going for a while, trust me.

Twisted Metal: Black
The darkest, most gritty game I've ever played, this game is unforgettable. Normally, I'm not into being dark for the purpose of being dark, but this game did it so well. Every single character's story was interesting. Not to mention the extremely fun gameplay, excellent graphics for the time, and one of the absolute best credits themes of all time.

Mortal Kombat: Deception
MORTAL KOMBAT! *Cue techno music*
This is another one of my first games, and it makes me wish I had a PS2 again. This game was awesome. The unique character design, the excellent gameplay, the awesome lore, the great multiplayer, the fun Konquest mode, and the great mini-games. Man, I wish I still had a PS2...

Fallout: New Vegas
If you haven't played this yet, you're missing out. It's a great RPG, it's a great FPS, it's a great Adventure game, it's truly a must-play game, regardless of what genres you're a fan of. The best lore for any game I've ever seen, the most content I've seen in any game, some of the best gameplay, and DANNY TREJO!

Bastion
Top 5, now we're gettin' to the really, really, really good stuff.
Now here's one you guys have probably never heard of. A weird but beautiful game about a boy trying to reset the world after the apocalypse, the game's seemingly simplistic story escalates dramatically, and it is legitimately one of the best plots I've seen in anything, ever. The gameplay is fun but difficult as heck, making it extremely rewarding. It has the second best soundtrack I've heard in any game. In my arrogant opinion, the last level, is the best last level in all of video game history. I can not recommend this game enough.

Dead Rising
WEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLL, HE AIN'T MAH BOY BUT THE BROTHAH IS HEAVEH!
This game isn't for eveyone, I'll tell you that. It's ball-bustingly hard, and the graphics were pretty mediocre for a Xbox 360 game. But underneath that, the boss fights are the the absolute best in all of video games, the soundtrack is the best in all of video games, the story is good, the feeling of accomplishment you get for passing the difficulty is tremendous, and when you get right down the the absolute base of the game, cutting down crowds of zombies is just plain fun.

Team Fortress 2
Absolutely no one has done multiplayer as well as TF2. No matter how you play, you'll have fun. There's something for everyone. Teamwork is important, two beats one 90% of the time. The Free-To-Play isn't pay-to-win. Every character is hilarious, lovable, and iconic. The game's art style itself exudes fun and charm. If you like multiplayer FPSes, you've gotta at least try this game out.

The Walking Dead
This is going to sound crazy, but I actually like TWD game more than the show. Not to crap on the show, it's great, don't get me wrong. But I like the game so much more. I like Rick and Carl, but I love Lee and Clementine. This game has the best story of ANY video game, ever. Big claim, I know, but I'm still making it. Just... Just go buy it. Now.

Batman: Arkham City
Yup, my number one is a Batman game. Problem? No? Good.
This game is unrivaled. The story is excellent and unpredictable, the melee combat is the best in any game I've ever played, the stealth is the best, the characters are amazing, and the game is faithful to the comics. I know that many of you guys hate Batman, but you should still at least find a way to try this game out.

Dang, this is the largest post I've ever made. It took me 4 stinkin' hours to make it.
