I realized I forgot to throw Guitar Hero/Rock Band/Hatsune Miku into my own list somewhere. Lets call it at 19.5. For whatever reason, I seemed to have put "fighting game" and "driving game" at 20 and 21. I'm not sure why I choose Soul Calibur for the fighting game either, instead of Persona 4 Arena. Maybe because I was only going with one game per series? *shrugs* I don't even know.

i can't say ultimate tenkaichi is a favorite of mine.. i'd say dragon ball raging blast 1 or 2 instead... Raging Blast 2 was alright. Raging Blast 1 was garbage. i wouldn't say it was garbage, but i liked it more than say budokai tenkaichi 2 and 1 Raging blast imo seemed a step forward from BT3 when raging blast 2 came out, i just didn't like it much cause there wasn't a story involved. You would hear frieza say that he'd transform but you would never see it because it was up to the ai to do it. It wasn't a scene anymore. ultimate tenkaichi i liked the story but not the gameplay. the rock paper scissors thing made it way too easy
Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was the best.I should probably update my list. i liked BT3 but i feel Raging blast made it a bit better except there were no GT characters, and i think BT3 had better match choises (if you ignore the fact dabura wasn't included lol) |

Well, I shouldn't have said garbage. I'm just pissed because I could never understand the controls.
Easy controls made it a lot more interesting to play with others.

Easy controls made it a lot more interesting to play with others. did you ever go thru the training mode? that's how i learned alot of the combat. Given it's not complex like mortal kombat combos but it's not too easy either lol i just prefer being able to press up down left and right for special moves instead of having to do them at the end of a combo (Dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 1 & 2) |
