I keep seeing this advertised on the History channel, looks pretty cool but I never watched any of Season 1 and they are advertising Season 2.
Is the show good? And is it something you can jump into late and still understand, or would I have to watch Season 1?

Disappointing from a historical perspective and blatantly pro-pagan in its rhetoric, but not unwatchable.

Disappointing from a historical perspective and blatantly pro-pagan in its rhetoric, but not unwatchable. It's the History channel. Did you really expect it to be historically accurate?

I personally enjoy the show. But you have to pay attention, as months, some times years pass in a single season
