No, there wasn't any at all. Oh, I imagine that sucked. Try having to manually search through your computer to find any programs you might be searching for.

Wasted my time downloading Windows 8.1 last night.
When Tom said they'd put the start button back on I thought he meant the start button where I could easily access all of my programs quickly.
Instead I have exactly what I had before, except with a button. Whoopty diddley doo.

You just assumed it'd be more than what it actually is. It is a start button that was technically already there. It's just visible on the screen now. It's not the start button I wanted, nor the one I need.

But i saw Windows 7 once and it was terrible so i could imagine.

I find that if you are on the start screen you click an arrow on the bottom left and it brings up all of you're programmes. I found that out last night. Everything is there in alphabetical order. Pretty nifty.
I thought the same about the start button. Would rather the old way but its all about revolutionising the way we use technology these days.
