Should have put an emoticon like this in there so people wouldn't take such a whimsical statement seriously. Oh you did not. Grow up (That was a joke)

Okay I have to say the Network is actually is edited. They removed DDP WCW theme and the dubbed over Cesaro name. Hold on. You watched WCW? The PPV's work now? I got a DDP match to work but it took a while.

Editing Cesaro matches so they no longer call him Antonio is ludicrous and unwarranted. I'm wondering how much money they wasted paying a guy to do that. At least we can say they're job creators

That kind of editing is REALLY stupid. If today's product is PG, so be it. You can still release a DVD with a TV-14 or M rating and expect parents to actually do their $#@!ing job and decide if it's right for their children or not. Hacking up matches to meet current standards is really messed up. ... and there's still no potential profit in paying a few million dollars so that people can not have to b**** about which DDP theme they're hearing 8) IF it's millions of dollars and IF it's a guarantee that they wouldn't do greater business by providing the only source of unedited footage. Speaking of how stupid it is, I once saw a thread on a wrestling forum where users posted all of the different edits that they'd spotted. It was fascinating, there were dozens of examples. It wasn't just the obvious stuff that we've been talking about like music- people were catching things like a barely legible sign in the back of an arena where an instance of "WWF" had been changed to read "WWE" (a strangely prescient sign for an audience member of the 1990s to have), seemingly random cuts to the crowd during entrances, dropped lines of innocuous commentary, lengthier (or shorter) fade-ins, noticeably louder (or quieter) ring bells, font changes, the switch from moving wrestler intros (such as those at the beginning of Royal Rumble pay per views) to static images, the removal of promos for old merchandise like Tshirts, interviews that are more zoomed in, alternate camera angles, etc. It was amazing. Some people were posting video clips and comparison photos and providing specific time codes so you could skip straight to the segment in question and see it for yourself. I don't recall exactly which site this was from but if you start googling WWE dvd changes you'll find all sorts of George Lucasian stuff that you never even knew thy fiddled with.

Supposedly some editing is done just because they happen to think it looks better from alternate camera angles, etc, decisions that they were able to make more easily after the fact than they were during the original broadcast.
... obviously stuff like the "E" sign were done for other reasons

Wait Gmen changed his name? Gmen hasn't been around in forever and suddenly someone shows up who types exactly like him (sans the ...) and you don't find that to be obvious?

They couldn't have just blurred it out, they actually took the time to (anachronistically) change the letters.
I think the original comment that showed the fan with the edited WWE sign said something like "amazing clairvoyant, or keen visionary?"

Gmen typed like crap. 2. Gmen loved the "..." gimmick, no way he'd give that up. 3. Gmen always disappears for long periods.

"Prestige85" seems like an unusually tame handle for Second Coming / aka Booze Lightyear.

It could be Second Coming. He said he was coming back last night. If it was Second Coming/Booze/Boner Man, he'd be talking Ashley's imploding breasts or Chyna porn or some crap like that, he rarely ever said anything not sexual, and even rarer said anything serious.

Yeah when I last heard from Second on PSN it was when he was making what I think was a Yakov Smirnoff joke followed by a lot of exclamation points which was utterly random, even for him.
