A freshman brought a gun into my school today. He was promptly taken to the office.
And that how is you stop a school shooting.

If he'd walked in and just started shooting, it might have been a very different story. ... far be it from me to suggest that stupidass rules that prevent solid citizens from carrying their legally licensed weapons on or near school property might be helpful...

WHAT DID YOU DO WITH WILD?!?! Did you miss where I referred to those rules as "stupidass"? Are you under the impression that the kid who walked into the school today with a gun just wasn't aware that it was against the rules, and totally wouldn't have done it if he had been? LOL

LOL Apparantly he told them he forgot he had it in his backpack. Now he's in jail. Memory helps people, remember that. Actually, that was a clear lie on his part. Who puts a gun in their backpack in the first place?
And Wild, I agree that stable citizens should be allowed to carry firearms, but not children. Children are stupid and do things they regret.

*shrugs* I think it's stupid that you can die for your country at 18 but can't buy a drink till you're 21, but otherwise I generally agree with our age of majority rules.

You can drive at 17 and a half and you need a grown men/women with drivers licence to watch you. Oh and you can drive fully at 18.

In terms of dumb acts of criminality few things top the OJ trial Except that OJ wasn't the idiot in that specific scenario.
