Rhino's more mechanical than I though. I almost thought he was a truck until he plowed through those cars.

And I thought the failure to take spider sense into account in the first one was bad...

I actually like the clip to be honest.
Maybe because we don't have the smurf in this clip though.

As much as I like the actor... he looks horrendous in that movie.
The scene with Spidey trying to catch all of the plutonium (which as we all know, is TOTALLY orange and stored in see-through containers...) was great stuff, classic comic book love... but the rest of that clip makes me want to beat my head against a wall until I forget I saw it.

It's not dark edgy enough. Need more realism.

I like the fact that it's not dark. Isn't Spider-Man supposed to have that joking feel anyways?

More movies need to be close to the source. The realism in comic book movies never work out honestly. The studios should take notice. The films that have been more closely related to the source material has been more financially successful I think

I didn't get that Joey was joking either, so don't feel bad. I was about to lambaste him.

The films that have been more closely related to the source material has been more financially successful I think I like the realism when executed correctly, honestly. Sometimes they try to make it so realistic that it's more unbelievable than the original source though.

I can't think of a single "realistic" comic book movie that wasn't total garbage.

I can't think of a single "realistic" comic book movie that wasn't total garbage. TASM was supposed to take a more realistic spin to the comics. You liked that. At least I thought of it as a more realistic spin.

At least I thought of it as a more realistic spin. ... I don't see how it was intended to be in any way more realistic than the comics. It featured a 15 year old kid building web-slingers (deemed "too unrealistic" for the Toby movies), a scientist transforming himself into a giant lizard, and then said scientist turning around and immediately developing a way to transform the entire city into lizards just like him. It was about as comic booky as it gets. That's WHY I liked it. There was no BS about how "normal movie audiences can't handle comic books." They went out there and made a live action comic book, and did it with love.

I saw it more so like this:
Instead of turning into a lizard, the genetics just healed his arm in an unusual way and somehow made him want to make the rest of the world like that. I'll admit, I don't remember like literally any of the movie, I just remember liking it. Did he ever go full lizard, or did his arm just heal and get real slimy?
