I want Spidey under the Marvel umbrella.
Not necessarily with the Avengers, just back home.
Personally, I blame Stan Lee for trying to get into the movies so quick.
Spider's villains have the unique ability to be A-listers when facing Parker, but simple B-listers on a whole.

I'm not a fan of F4 either. |

Why does universal have namor? Same reason Spidey has Fox and etc. Marvel wanted movies to be made quicker than they did, so they sold movie rights so that that could be possible. I'm assuming they wanted a Namor movie, probably before an Aquaman movie came out. I would prefer Aquaman, lol. I'm also not a fan of Namor. |

I hated the idea of Spidey being an Avenger, but the New Avengers lineup worked very well in the comics. Part of that was the interplay between Spidey and Wolverine though, so to make it work you need them both back "home." |

It could be done, but if you take away the concept of mutants, Cable really isn't anything worth talking about. |

I don't like the idea of quicksilver and scarlet witch being in the avengers either just cause they are mutants. Even if marvel had the x men rights I would still want it separated from the other licensees |

I didn't know they couldn't use the word "Mutant" but Cable is very much so 20th century's character, as I believe he was either included in the X-men or Deadpool contracts. I cant' remember which.

I actually like the idea of having one huge Marvel movie universe and not having them all in different universes (same goes for DC).

Thing that bothered me was how the x men are looked upon as freaks while other heroes like spidey, f4, cap, thor are celebrated as heroes. How does the average civilian know spidey wasn't born a mutant.

Even if masked upon heroes, villains, or just general reactions from the crowd. |
