I f***ING HATE Korra, the character herself. The bitch just HAS to reset the f***ING Avatar Cycle, doesn't she? Like I said, Legends of Korra isn't remotely as good as Avatar: Last Airbender. The teen/young adult relationship complication is partly the reason why. Yeah, I don't hate it nearly as much as iodill, or for even remotely the same reasons. I enjoy the show, I just don't think it's a worthy successor to the original. My biggest complaint is all of the modernization. The cars, motorcycles, and mecha just make me want to change the channel.

There's another Avatar after The Last Airbender? Yes, Legend of Korra. It is... disappointing. I can imagine how shit it was if they didn't even bought it here (and they've bought here some serious shit so...).

No, it's not. That's what you keep missing. The architecture is American, inspired by the Greek style. Looks like i forgot to write the other half of my sentence... i was about to write "It's inspired by Geek architecture, and we should give them credits for the work they've done before Americans did" But it's still not Greek, and that's the point. It's not even a copy of something Greek. It's different architecture with thematic resemblances to Greek architecture. In exactly the same way, Teen Titans and Avatar are not anime. They're purely Western products (made most evident by the strictly western-style story telling they used) with some thematic resemblances to anime.

Haven't even watched Legend of Korra.
On a mostly off topic note, did anyone else here like Kim Possible?

Kim Possible is of sentimental value to me. That show was fucking awesome.
The theme song has been stuck in my head for about 2 weeks.

I liked all of the characters on the show... except Kim. Me too. Spaz (if i remember correctly her sidekicks name was Spaz (correct me if i'm wrong)) was my favorite. Well or Kim's grandma.

I highly doubt people in Japan call it anime. They probably call it something funky which people then translate into anime. No, he's right. "Anime" is the word in Japan. Remember that the Japanese language doesn't invent new words when they encounter a new concept. They adopt the word from the original language. The problem with the argument is that the Japanese DO NOT refer to all cartoons as anime, even though the word might technically apply. Like us, they have different terms for different genres of animation, and they don't refer to imported American cartoons as "anime" for the most part. As far as I know, they just have the one term for animation. Unless they just throw an "American" or "western" onto the term.
