Joey, you seem to have a lot of issues with the difference between liking a movie, and HAVING to think that every actor IN the movie is great. I've never seen the movie (nor am I the slightest bit interested), but Channing Tatum cannot act, no matter how many "good" movies he's been in. He's the boy equivalent of ScarJo... strictly there for the opposite sex and roughly 3% of his own gender.

I liked it better as Pyro. Though, it's cool to see Sunspot in a movie  or wait, am I thinking of Sunfire? Fuck it. Too many heroes with either "fire" or "sun" in their name for me to know any of them. |

LOTS of X-characters have had heterosexual relationships and are now gay though. In the past decade or so, at last a dozen characters in the x-family have "come out." |

Sunfire basically has the same powers as the Human Torch, except that his powers are nuclear (but look and act just like flames...), and that he doesn't "flame on" like the Torch does. He's an awesome character thought... just pure awesome Japanese dickishness.

Sounds like I want myself a Sunfire appearance in a movie. So do I, but only if they don't wimp out on making him a jerk to avoid ticking off the Japanese, and only if he gets enough screen time to really be a full character and not just "an appearance." I've loved Sunfire since I was a kid. ... I think he might have been part of "Big Hero 6" which was Japans super team in Marvel, and a hilarious genre parody comic (soon to be an animated film from Disney!) |
