*eyeroll* Jackman is barely a passable Wolverine, certainly not a good one. I don't want that tool Tatum playing him, since Wolverine isn't ghetto and Tatum has repeatedly proven that no matter what his role, he can't get the ghetto out of his speech, but replacing Jackman is hardly an impossibility. However should more blame be assigned to the way the writing's potrayal of the charachter or just Jackson failing to deliver. Personally it's a little bit of both.

I definitely attribute it to the writing and the movies. I've said several times, I thought Jackman was a terrible choice, but he won me over by throwing himself 100% into the character and adopting the mannerisms of the comic book version, etc. I don't really fault his acting for the most part, though I do acknowledge that there are times when it's hard not to look at him and go "look, Hugh Jackman!" (which happens with any really famous actor in any role I think)

I think Jackman has done a great job as Wolverine. I will say my favorite portrayal was in the newest Wolverine film. Mostly because you got to see the beast side of his. My only real big disappointment with that movie is I wish they would've focused a little more on how Wolverine learned the ways of the Samurai.
I'm calling it now. Wolverine 2 will be with Omega Red, lol.

He went bestial some in X3. The fight scene in the woods was almost a panel-by-panel reconstruction from a comic book. The problem is that the rest of the movie sucked.
The movie Wolverine is based far too much on the modern Wolverine, which is weak and wishy washy. If you watched his entire evolution, from "Wolverine Classic" till now in the comics, it makes sense how he ended up where he is... but him starting out that way with no context just feels like so much cliche. How many action heroes are exactly that same character, the formerly remorseless killer with a heart of gold and a really good excuse for all the killing.

They did apparently have Sunfire in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He died the same episode I believe and was portrayed as a villain if I remember correctly.

Now that I think about it though, you're correct and it was Skorch.

To be fair, Quentin was just being Quentin. He rebels against everything. Even himself.

I don't know who Quentin is, but he seems like a prick. He's an uber-telepath in the current group of teen X-Men. I hated him initially but I've come to really enjoy his cynicism and disrespectful attitude. He's kind of the guy you're always expecting to turn on the team, but he never does. He met his future self and only had time to ask one question. His question was "How long before I can finally get out of this school?" I think of him as one of those kids that plays bad but deep down wants to be good.
