The game that looks...
Oh, this is a comic and superhero thread. Didn't mean to interrupt, never mind.

MUA is one of the most fun Co-Op games of all time. If you weren't a cheap bastard and had XBL, I'd tell you to pick up a copy and join me for an online game to prove it to you.

And if you want to vote for a game not listed write down [other] before the games name i'll take it as a vote for that game.

No, I actually believe you. It's not the enthusiasm for this particular title that makes me roll my eyes, it's that a thread about a video game wishlist turned into five straight pages of superhero talk. A thread breaking into endless superhero talk isn't an omnipresent and infinite phenomenon or anything, so it took me by surprise.

To be fair to everybody, there was a point when we were in mike's position (well, most of us) when he and everyone else were fapping over GTA V. At that point, the tables were turned and mike didn't care at the time, and we were all irritated with the GTA conversations.

If only that were anything resembling the truth. It astonishes me how often everybody segues into this topic. You have the entire comic section, a thread specifically for random comic tangents, and now even a comic role-playing section. I honestly don't think you're consciously aware of how often comic books bleed out of all those areas and into any random topic about any random thing at any random time. And once you do, you're at it for hours. It's not because I don't like comic books (I'm generally indifferent). It's not because I dislike comic book movies (the few I've seen I've enjoyed). It's not because I don't enjoy superhero games (I've liked every one that I've happened to play). It's not because I disapprove of going off-topic (Unless the author of a thread voices his disapproval, I seriously don't care). It's the simple fact that this one subject comes up so often, in so many places, and goes on for so long, that someone like me- who usually doesn't participate in the discussion- can stand back and take note of how ubiquitous it is.

As a non discusser of Comic books, I 2nd your claim that the comic discussion happens all the time, Everytime no mater what the topic originally started as.

I remember that after Knight and a few others complained about GTA V I made a specific thread so we could just talk about it there. I even opened the thread with the comment that I was trying to keep GTA discussion to that thread so we wouldn't annoy anyone else in unrelated topics. Then one of the 2K moderators bitched at me because some other guy had made half a dozen pointless GTA threads to annoy people and assumed that I was trying to do the same.

I don't remember who it was, I just remember that he said he made the first couple out of genuine interest but supposedly made the next three or four because people were giving him so much shit about bringing it up where it "didn't belong".

It didn't stay there though. The conversations were all over the place. You can't say they weren't.
