I just checked the WWE stock thing. The stock price went down 14.70%. They're currently (at the time of me typing this post) at 23.90. That's awful considering I saw WWE's stock thing at 25-something dollars YESTERDAY before WrestleMania 30. Please note, I'm a small novice in stock market knowledge.

My personal irritation with him aside, I would also like to point out that, so far as I can tell, Howard wasn't treated any differently than we are always treating one-another. That's just how we roll around here.
... I was actually pretty proud of myself for never once calling him a name 8)

He said the person that ended the streak was irrelevant and would be, whoever ended it except if it was to be an up-and-comer. That comes across to me as him not specifically liking the fact that it was Lesnar that ended the streak but more so the fact the streak actually ended, I feel if anyone had ended the streak he'd have liked it. But, That's just what I took from his comment . Even if that were the case I still don't see it as "baiting". His potential enjoyment at seeing the streak end isn't inherently belligerent and provocative. That said, I know him, and talk to him on a near-daily basis, so I'm in the unique position of knowing exactly what he meant. Howard isn't a big Undertaker fan. He's also not a big Brock Lesnar fan. He sees both men as part-timers (accurately so) and feels that while they've been capable of having a good match, he doesn't go out of his way to watch either one of them. Lesnar less so, because he's never been very interested in him. Howard doesn't have any particular investment in the streak. However, very much like myself, he always felt that if it was to end, it should end at the hands of someone who can benefit from it, someone who's young enough and dedicated enough to carry that feather in his cap and do useful things with it. When Howard says that the person who broke the streak would be irrelevant is this: He figures that since the streak wasn't beaten by guys such as Orton, Edge, HBK, Punk and others then the WWE must not have the same mindset that he and I do about the streak. They must NOT be waiting for a specific fairytale story or a particular athlete who's got X amount of years ahead of him. They must have decided that they're going to just end the streak when they feel like ending it, when either Taker has had enough or they find a guy who they just happen to agree should end it. In other words, he has the sense that WWE was going to end the streak sooner or later, and that the specific requirements of the person who ended it probably weren't as big of a deal to the rest of us. So, he figured, "if they're going to just let it end at the hands of a random guy", then he felt that they did it in a way that was interesting. The match wasn't hyped all that much, Lesnar didn't seem to be particularly likely to go over, and basically everyone in the world thought that this was just going to be another streak victory. That they picked THIS moment to end it was cool to him. He liked that they chose such a surprising time to do it. He liked that it shocked people. It was so unexpected that he was entertained by WWE's decision. If he cared much about either guy he might have been more concerned about the decision but since he doesn't, he didn't care one way or the other. He was left with shock and he enjoyed the fact that WWE went about it in the way that they did. Long story short: If they're NOT waiting to find "just the right person" to end the streak, and they WERE eventually going to go with "any irrelevant guy", then why not Lesnar, and why not now? To him, the shock value was a cool move. That's absolutely 100 percent ALL that he meant, and I know this because we had this very conversation in an excited phone call just this afternoon, before I even knew about the stuff that happened on the forum. All I read was he isn't a Taker fan. Good guy

Oh, and I forgot Whipwreck. It's their iPPV. I'm surprised you've never heard of them. Not a clue, remember - England. We don't really get to hear about independents on the island. Oh, yeah. Forgot about the England part Anyhow, the only reason I bought them is for Tajiri. It was only 80 dollars for 4 second row seats and I'm taking my brothers and my girlfriend.

The Lesnar thing has had a marked impact. Several news outlets that don't typically report on wrestling are talking about the fan outrage.

If I remember correctly it's squared circled wrestling, but don't quote me on that. It is. I was wrong, lol.

Speaking of Wrestlemania 30 I chuckled during the Cena vs Wyatt match when Cena had the chair and the referee said "this is not who you are John" some official he is, being a consultant and not refereeing.
